haribo,
I love your find!:j I have loads of room in my utility room, it used to be the potting shed and coal store room, hubby knocked it through and we have never used it, apart from storing c**p. I have been inspired by this thread to have a shabby chic room outback!!! hubby is not keen on this idea, but I am going to do it anyway:p :rotfl:'If you judge people, you have no time to love them'

Here is a pic of my `project`
It started off as a lovely pine dresser which i decided to paint. Being a bit silly i decided to take a chance, forget about preparation and painted it with white gloss. The paint didnt take and i am now in the process of stripping off the paint. Then i will have to sand it, prime it and repaint it. I am determined to finish it and will update more pics when i have finished. This is proof that its better to do a job properly.:o“Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. I have started shabbying up my cellar. It used to be a pit of treasure or rubbish as hubby says.It will take a while but I took before photos so I'll show you all when it's done. No budget though so I'm using stuff from around the house I already have.0 -

Harib, fab pics of your little larder. My eagle-eyed boy wonders if you know that there is a block of butter on the bottom shelf. :rotfl:Katie.0

Haribo Junkie, that kitchen unit you bought brought back so many memories. At the end of the 50's they were 'the' thing to have. My Aunty Margaret had one. What yours lacked was the drop down work surface. They are so useful giving everything you really need. Lots of storage and workspace.
I want one.........0 -

hi vintage, yeah it's very shabby :rotfl: I can't find my camera or my lead from my fone one, I think I will have to buy another camera from tesco so I can show everyone the pics.It like a store room, hubby had it plastered and its like a light green colour. As i said, its full of hubby rubbish:mad: , boxes of tools and old guitars, lots of boys/men stuff!! There is an unbulit red metal sheving unit in there, that I was going to build up. I have a old fashioned walk in pantry, that is crammed to the brim, so I thought that all my old pots and gadgets could go into this room.
When I told hubby of my idea last sunday, he nearly freaked out:eek: said it was a stupid idea??? men!!! I am just ignoring him and will do it anyway!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: There was a pic on here that I would like it like, see if I can find it'If you judge people, you have no time to love them'
