  • .I would imagine I could do it myself but it would be hard to get it to look and last as well!

I must admit inspired by squint I am considering taking a upholstery diploma course to maybe go into business once the boys are a bit older but I need to save a few pennies first as its a bit pricey...
    simplicity is key

  • Yes just keep the order to around $30 and you should be okay. The £18 limit should include postage but as that's not seen on the package they don't seem to check too hard.I have received numerous packages where the value of goods is around $30 and have never been stung for custom charges.
thanks, just ordering a few bits and pieces right now! loads of bargain fabrics, some of the moda fabrics are cheaper for a whole yard than 1 fat quarter here!
    totally a tog!:D

My daughter has a very small room with a loft bed. She has plain unvarnished wardrobe and I painted it white. A net canopy over the bed from Au Natural, a flowery fabric pin board. Flowery pegs, feathery fairy lights and a wicker chair with a patchwork cushion. You could hang lots of little hearts and maybe go for a gingham theme which isn't too babyish.

I would take a picture of her room but I'd have to get my decontamination gear on and clean it out first. :o

Thanks Haribo, I loved your photo's earlier on in the thread btw. I've not heard of Au Natural before so off to google it. WHEN you do decide to get the decontamination suit on then I'd love to see a photo:rotfl:

  • Oh my. Did someone actually mention that you can buy Le Creuset in TK Maxx or was that just my fevered imagination? What colours? Just casserole dishes or do they do saucepans as well. Is it in every store or just one? I've never been to TK Maxx before.....

Yes ... I have seen Le Crueset in TK Max but it is a bit hit and miss as to what they have and the colours. Worth keeping an eye on it though.
I had recently paid £12.99 for a Le Crueset utensil holder and then saw it for £6.50 in TK Max
Thank you for this site :jNow OH and I are both retired, MSE is a Godsend

another one i use quite often is https://www.buttonberry.co.uk - i make bags and most of my own home deco (canvases, pictures, cushions etc) and have always loved the whole shabby chic look. I managed to nab the last quilted throw in primark today (much to my sisters annoyance) - *waves to sis who is a lurker so far i think* :D:D

    HI!!

I not a lurker, yesterday HariboJunkie suggested that i remove top cupboard in my kitchen to make room for open sheles so i need your help! :rotfl:

Our TKMaxx (Gateshead) had loads of the stuff. Casserole dishes, pie type dishes, rectangular lasagne type dishes and pans I think. Colours for the ceramic ones were pink, blue and pale green I think.
