maybe, but what if Dell still have your ordered items for sale on their site 4 weeks after your order?
still insisting they do not have the items?0 -
I wouldn't care! I'd have got another computer/laptop by then. Or have bought a brand new Dell one off eBay as I've infact done instead.0

Then by all means report them for misleading advertising. But that still doesn't support the OP's assertion that they can be forced to complete the order (even after a refund has been offered)."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

im not buying a laptop.
i ordered 2 accesories for my dell laptop.
these 2 items are still for sale added to the fact i only found out it was cancelled by seeing this thread.
the funds were removed 22 days after order and then its cancelled so
while items not being available wouldnt really bother me.
the fact the 2 items i ordered are still for sale on Dells site even though im being told they are unavailable does.0 -

Report them to TS for being misleading. That's the extent of what you can do if you want to do something."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Factually incorrect. As you should know, breach of contract can be pursued and the retailer forced to put the consumer in the position they would have been in if the contract had completed.
I really don't understand why people are so keen to support Dell when they are so clearly in the wrong, and so clearly breaching their contract to supply goods.0 -

Because both cases have their money back and are in exactly the same position they were in before they started. Is it that hard to understand?
Not letting it go is just the same mindset as that of the American sue/blame culture. It gives the impression and anyone who is passionate about trying force Dell into doing something has some sort of short man syndrome. Because come on, it's true, it's trying to make yourself feel big.0
