I think, but I'm no expert, that the use of colour is the BBcode markup?

Gemmzie & Rayday, have both of yours updated this evening without any problem? You've both got quite a bit of info in there and a few colour changes etc, but I can't get it to save any of my revisions, even if I take loads out.

Yeah changed it today, hence the last two bits sharing a line.

Cut the whole lot, paste it to word or something and then paste it back in line by line until it's correct.

A few quick tips - I'll post a more detailed bit later

If I recall correctly, the characters counted aren't just ones you can see, formatting also counts. The size and colour of your signature is made up by 'vBulletin code'.

To see this code, click at the top-right above the signature box

Then instead of seeing Hello, you'll see what makes it say Hello in red:
[noparse]Hello[/noparse]
So here to say Hello in red i've actually used 24 characters.

I just Googled and found an online word counter here so you can -

- Click to see your signature with formatting
- Copy it and paste it into that box and click the Count button (ignore the more advanced settings below the box)

I can see 4. But then there's evidence to prove that I'm not too good at adding things up :rotfl:

It's all the colour changes in the Superpap bit I expect, that's a lot of coding
