It does say in the instructions that it won't suffer from being left too long, I suppose once the heat has gone it doesn't really matter.

I like my yog thick so I've decided to leave it till the morning. Will let you know how it turns out.

    UPDATE

Just thought I'd report back that this morning my yog is lovely - thick and perfectly set. It's not particularly creamy and it's a bit sharp but I think that's because I chose a low fat one.

So I'm a happy bunny now.

Any recommendations for the nicest variety to use? I'm planning to go back to using my own starter/powder/UHT version as it works out cheaper, but I thought I'd try a few Easiyo flavours first.

    Thanks for the help!

    yay , welldone ,
i do prefer the natural ones as they are more adaptable in terms of adding things that you like ie fruit wise and you can control the sugar content and stuff

Good to hear. Strawberry, lemon, custard (apparently), they all seem pretty good but I wouldn't bother with the Squirt stuff thats no different to any sauce IMO. I also make plain and add crushed berries at the point of eating often or whatever fruit is cheap and plentiful.

I bought my first easiyo about a month ago because of this thread and we've fallen for it big time:D

My youngest asked me to get him one since he goes to uni in september and wants it to take with him, then eldest arrived home for easter from uni and decided the yoghurt was easy to make and tastes so yummy he wanted one too:eek:
I originally ordered from Lawsons but I used Wahl on Thursday for my 2nd order as prices were slightly better and lower threshold for free delivery. Wahl order arrived this morning, brilliant service! I ordered two of most of the flavours we thought we'd like, using their select your own 10 packs for £19.50, which is a great way to try out a variety. I also order 6 nectarine, cherry and raspberry since those have been our favourites so far. Also loved the mango, toffee was ok flavour but strange slightly stringy consistency.
Have a bosenberry on the go at the moment, and yes I had to google to find out what it was:rotfl:but then decided a cross-between a blackberry & raspberry sounded nice.
We also make our own using the method on here which has been great, thick creamy and addictive and yes cheaper but it's nice to try the different flavours too.

    Hope that's of some help.

I found since I was ordering an extra starter kit and also wanted some extra beakers, useful so that you can start a second batch off before the first one is finished and the little lidded tubs are great for taking for lunch so with a combination of lots of flavours we wanted to try there was no problem ordering £50 worth!!

The Wahl prices are very good, I might put an order in now I know it's successful.

Has anybody tried the drinking yog? I love Yakult and wondered if it's as nice?
Oh dear, here we go again.
