Seems like this is the case. Was due to collect my order for 510 of the beef today, but manager came out and told me head office had blocked the bulk buy on this item due to the effect on all customers

I've just collected another 9 packs (I know, a measly amount!), a lot of stores seem to be out now. What I've noticed is you want to go to the stores that don't do home shopping, as everyone is ordering them on-line. Stafford and Telford Extra stores are both out of the 65p packs, but Cannock has some left - but wrongly marked up as the bigger packs - no fooling MSE'rs though!

well there was only 12 left today so got the lot of them for 600 points.

Is the extra points deal still on? I bought some of the beef in gravy yesterday but when I checked my receipt at home, I wasn't awarded the extra points!! I'm a newbie when it comes to Tesco and would appreciate advice - should I ring them to query this?

Was it Birds Eye Beef in Gravy, and did you purchase 3+?

Also, did you give them your Clubcard?

I had an order for 150 at Brooklands and one for 180 at Addlestone for today but I rang to say I wasn't going to collect. Anyone in the area, this means they'll be loads to be had there!

Looks like I managed to get my large order just in time. 8am Thursday morning 900 beef in gravy was handed over the counter to me and straight into the arms of the homeless centre's car. He just could not believe the offer and was extremely grateful. They actually invested in a new freezer to take the food from me. Great investments all round me thinks.

Yes to all PeteM. Points for other item showed up and so did the Magnum 5 boxes for £4.

Being a newbie Tesco beef buyer, just wondered do Tescos have similar deals every few months or is this really a one-off ? thanks
