Oh dear I don't think I'll be buying any more of the freezer meals for extra points. I brought 3 of the weightwatcher ones and 3 birds eye ones to help boost this months points. Hubbie is out working so thought I'd try one (we don't often eat processed convenience foods-only Tesco finest lasagne yum yum) anyway it wasn't a very pleasant experience, I wasn't expecting first class cuisine but it was truly awful I could only bare to eat a third of it before giving up and eating the salad I had served it with and to be honest the lettuce had more flavour.

Fortunately due to the deal I'm not out of pocket but I wont be buying them again, I can't afford to buy loads and give them away and I certainly can't eat them lol.

I hope the next bonus points offer is on something I like :)

Nappies would be very useful, or coffee!!

We are thinking of getting a new kitchen next year and would consider MFI as I know they accept the clubcard deal vouchers. Let me see....how many burgers would a kitchen be?

Anyway when I had a look at the clubcard site, the following conditions apply for MFI...

"Deals Tokens cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offer, scheme or promotion and cannot be exchanged in whole or part for cash"

Because MFI has this permanent sale culture, does this mean that the vouchers would only apply to the "original" selling price. Has anyone ever used their points at MFI?

    Thanks

    Moose
Hi Moose - MFI does have a permanent sale on - but not on certain items - often costly things such as lighting, cornicing, edging, plinths are not reduced- when we bought our kitchen we had to buy several non-sale items and this boosted the overall cost. It is a way for MFI to make big money. I've not used Clubcard vouchers but just thought I'd point this out. Say for example there is a minimum £500 spend - well you can easily find non-sale items in your kitchen design to spend on. Hope this helps you!

DOH! Sorry Moose - i replied before realising someone else had responded ages before that you could use vouchers on any items - didn't realise this topic had over 70 pages....oh well!!!

Off topic a little just a word of warning if this hasn`t been covered elsewhere. But I noticed that for the last 4 weeks or so I haven`t been getting the bonus points that come with using the Tesco credit card.I spoke to Tescos a couple of times over that last 2 days and it seems that this is quite widespread and there has been a blip in the sytem, so it`s well worth keeping your own check and not just trusting that everything goes ok.

Noticed the same thing today - my statement at the bottom of my receipt says 2 points. I should have about 500 points by now at least from my CC, for August alone. Phoned clubcard (Tesco Personal Finance didn't want to know!) and they just said they'll be getting corrected 'sometime in the future.'

Recorded delivery will only cover for up to £30 of loss, so for large amounts you need to use special delivery and make sure you have sufficient insurance.

I think you can fly cheap from Teesside to Paris. Look at https://www.skyscanner.net it's great for checking prices.
Like my avatar, took the photo myself with the free digital camera I bought from boots with all my free points! I love moneysaving.

    Hi guys,

Thanks to the original poster, this is a superb deal! I am going to get as many points as I can and then convert them into MFI tokens for when I buy my first house next year :)

Just need to find a few hundred packs now!

The MFI tokens only last 6 months, so its worth waiting before converting them. I think the clubcard vouchers last 2 years?
Tesco Deals Vouchers : £1500 in deals used towards Florida 2010 honeymoon and £318 towards Wedding rings in Goldsmiths - Thanks to all Tesco points savers who helped me along the way!
