ok, bit thick too, tesco have a deal that for £47.50 of clubcard vouchers you get 6 lessons from bsm. How much of the beef offer would I have to buy to get this? Would I have to wait for my statement to come in or can I apply for the vouchers earlier?

Worked it out with the online Calc.

Therefore - total clubcard points would be 4750 (Worth £48 in shopping)

You are buying Birds Eye Beef In Gravy priced at 66 pence - at an average earning of 50 points per pack.

Therefore - total packets needed is 95

95 Birds Eye Beef In Gravy at 66 pence would cost £62.7

£62.70 of Beef = 6 Lessons -that is cheap - £10 per lesson.

Do you mean clubcard vouchers or clubcard deal tokens? If it is deal tokens then it will cost about £2.50 a lesson ish

£47.50 Deal Tokens = £11.875 in Tesco Vouchers (Deals = 4x face value vouchers)

£12 vouchers (rounded up) = 150points x 8 (so 8 lots of 3 meals)

8 x 3 = 24 Bird's Eye meals

24 x 66p (beef) = £15.84

Therefore the "real cost" of 6 BSM lessons using this method of payment would be £15.84.

I would think you would need to have the Deals Vouchers in hand before booking, I certainly did with Butlins, they ask for the serial numbers.

edit - Ignore the above calculations - based on wrong assumptions!!!

Since you need £47.50 in clubcard vouchers (normal) [and this is not the deals tokens value] the above working out is correct...except you should buy 96 packs since 95 is not divisible by 3 (and the 150 points comes from buying 3). You'll also get points for you spend (1 per £1).

just been to tescos for the roast beef 66p deal got 18 packs then used the self scan (used a few joey vouchers too !) all went throu o.k and at the bottom off reciept it states 900 points for birds eye deal thing is on looking at yesterdays reciept it is exactly the same so they have not added my 900 points on, anyone know why this is, i think i will need to go back to tescos, dunno if to get any more roast beef as freezer is groaning, when does the offer end ? when do the clubcard points convert to vouchers is it the end of august ?

Takes at least 2 days for points to show up.

And it's only points up to 31st July that will get converted for the august mailing.

Any points you accumulate from 1st August onwards will come to you as vouchers in November.
