3 packs of the beef (the 66p one) gets you 150 clubcard points. So, by spending £1.98, you get 151 club card points (worth £1.51 to spend in Tesco). Use the points on a club card deal and they are then worth x4 face value. This means 151 points is worth £6.04. So, by spending £1.98 on beef, you get £6.04 worth of club card deal points to spend on a holiday or new kitchen, etc. It doesn't matter if you want the beef or not. If you're going on holiday, or want driving lessons, it's cheaper to buy the beef and give it away, using the club card points to get your holiday or driving lessons, than pay for them out of your own pocket normally.

thank you I knew it was worth it, more beef tomorrow my dog thinks it her birthday
  • Hi , I was the buffoon that originally suggested buying hundreds/thousands of packets, see post 15
    Clubcard deals

So from this, If i buy 1000 packets of burgers costing £990, I would get £2000 points worth of clubcard deals ? Is this correct, so I could pay for a £2000 pound holiday from French Life with a total spend of £1000 worth of burgers ? And have a burger party, just bring your own cobs !!!!!!!!!

    Up the Rams !!

What I need to know is how long are the clubcard vouchers that you get sent through valid for? how long do you get to convert them to clubcard deals, and again how long are these valid for??
I have my first bulk purchase (800) coming on Wednesday, that is for next years holiday, could i book one for the year after, and the year after ??

I think the clubcard vouchers are valid for 2 years and the deals tokens must be used to book a deal within 6 months.

Yup thats right - but theres no reason you can't use your converted deal tokens to book a holiday for 2007 now - even better you might get an early booking discount :)
  • Tesco told me that if you've got club card vouchers (not the deals vouchers) which are nearing the end of the 2 year validity period, they'll just exchange them for new ones.
