Bridge Travel was in the last Clubcard book we got - they are also on the Tesco website:
- Go to Tesco website
- from the home page select "Clubcard" under "Customer Info" in the 2nd column
- click on "How do I spend clubcard vouchers"
- Click on "Spend on Clubcard Deals and Airmiles"
- In the left hand column under Clubcard Deals select "Holidays"
- Bridge travel is the 4th company listed in the deals.
MOH says they've reduced the number of brochures you can use these Clubcard deals for, but still includes Disneyland Paris.
Happy hunting:)You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -
I have just booked DLP today for 3 nights including New Year's Eve. The real cost of the holiday is £1,056! However, it has cost me nothing. The lady at Bridge was very helpful. She said she would take a £300 deposit on my debit card, and as soon as they receive the deal vouchers, then the balance (£6) will be refunded. Yesterday, I was told that the holiday could not be booked until I had the deal vouchers in hand, and when I queried this was different to what had happened when I last booked a DLP break through Cresta and clubcard, she said it was different now!
I have sent my clubcard vouchers to Tesco special delivery and also confirmed that my travel insurance (L&V) covers cancellation. My kids can't wait. 2 year's ago we went to DLP for Bonfire Night, again courtesy of Tesco.
Please keep up the postings everybody when you come across extra points deals.0 -

Thanks for that, biglugs. Can't seem to get any prices for DLP, though.Got a rough idea how much it will cost to for two adults and a child to go in February (travel and accomodation)?
In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

You can't get prices on the website. You have to telephone clubcard and ask for the telephone numbers for Bridge & Cresta, which for some reason, they don't publish on the clubcard website.
If you are going in February, outside of half-term, you should be able to go very reasonably. There will doubtless be kids go free, for starters.0 -

But from this year's brochure the Sequoia Lodge hotel was £342 per adult with kids free if you flew from Heathrow for a 3 night 4 day break in the last week of Feb (this was a special deal where you pay for 2 nights and get the third free). It was £311 by Eurostar and £252 if you drove via Dover. For the same week the Newport Bay hotel was £357 per adult flying. It gets more expensive in March when they don't have the 3 nights for 2 deal.
These prices included accommodation, all flights and taxes, transfers from the airport, and continental breakfast for the 3 mornings you are there. If you want any of the other things like Character Breakfasts or the Wild West Show (fantastic but pricey) you have to pay for these separately.
I'm hoping they will have similar deals next year - they have for about the last 5 or 6 years. I have a few pages from last year's brochure saved as PDF documents - if you pm me with an email address I will forward them on to you.
Not sure if my maths is right but I reckon you need about 342 packs of beef to get this - but will cost you £225ish. That's a whole lotta beef! You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -
biglugs wrote:Not off hand - but if I remember rightly the Bridge prices weren't dissimilar to those from other companies like Cresta etc.

Cheers for that, biglugs - not sure I need to buy any more beef, though, as I've got something like £825 in deals to spend now.:)In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

I reckon Martin should arrange a get together for all the MSErs who'll be in Disneyland Paris in the last week of February last year, using up their Tesco Clubcard points!!You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0

Just been to my local Tesco at 3am,i emptied the shelf of beef, but only 15 packets.
I asked an employee if i could run 1 item through 90 times, she told me i could not do it on self scan, but if i went to the customer service desk, they could enter 90 items in bulk.
I went to the customer service desk, but she explained that the stock levels would be wrong if i paid for 90 items that were not on the shelf.
Never mind,it was worth a try.
They all thought it was a good deal though.Sponsored by Tesco Clubcard Points !!0
