10 or more packets of the same thing in my local Extra stores warrented the supervisor being called over and authorising the transaction.

Strange that is, Purchase 15 in one store without attention - but got the odd looks and in the other 12 boxes went though without a problem. But I am offloading all the Joey Coupons I have as well to drop the price down to under a pound or £2 :j

In one store today I got 15, and put in 3 coupons for (3x £3 Joeys) and all I needed to pay was the £0.90 - it had to be authroise by the till scanner (Self service) I was about to leave when I noticed the girl about to open up the till box to check - hence I made a quick exit :p

Even better buying 12 boxes of cereal warrant a odd look from another shopper... now have to shift all of these cereals now as I don't like them.

Thanks to all you posters - I too have a freezer full of organics, none of
which I've tried, but don't expect much. As has been suggested, I can't help thinking the 118g Beef in Gravy might get pulled from the offer, so I've put an order in for 150 with Customer Services. Was told Tuesday next week, and by the tone of her voice I'm guessing she's done a few of these!
Roll on getting a year's worth of points in 1 week!

    cheers

no probs at the moment, with anybody coming over to check, got another 24 in another tesco with no probs as well.
so got 2,430 points today the kids are getting nearer and nearer DLP now lol
by the way this is the first time i had my points worth over £6.50 in tesco vouchers.
  • Ordered 72 packs today. Will be there for me on Saturday. I don't bother lying about why I'm buying them. I'm up front and honest and the CS people laughed and said it was a great idea. Oh, and to top it all off, I got a double club card voucher with my shopping today. So, when I go to pick up my 72 packs of beef, I'll make sure I do a BIG shop to get maximum double points.

(Sorted out the club card problem with Tesco today with no problems, so I'm back on track again.)
In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

Wahoo!! 32 packs of beef at 66p (plus a beef casserole for £1.36 - a man's got to eat) and I cleared 2050 extra clubcard points for about £22.50. Absolutely no problems at the tills, but we did buy these in 3 separate transactions with other stuff (bit strange at the till though buying 6 garden chairs and 12 packets of frozen roast beef:) ) and in 2 different stores.
We cleaned out Milton Keynes but left a few packets in the Buckingham store!
My wife is now tasked with clearing out all the Tescos within a 20 mile radius to get us to EuroDisney again next spring!

p.s. The beef casserole was very nice but not enough salt!

Anyone sick of munching their way through the organic burgers? I wasn't impressed with the solid texture but OH minced them up before cooking tonight and made a more than acceptable shepherds pie.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Noticed today that in the ingredients in the Roast beef there is 52% beef, and the chicken 48%.

Don't you just love what we're doing to our bodies to get these holidays?!
