OH phoned me on his mobile to say that they were a load of "that beef in gravy" that I was after. How many did I want? Shame he was in Sainsburys at the time.

Does anyone know if the Birds Eye 100 points offer is restricted to larger stores? I went into Liverpool Tesco Metro today and I bought 3 x Birds Eye beef meals and no extra points! Cashier said that it may be restricted to large stores... anyone know?

My local store isn't that big (14 checkouts) and does the 150 points.
Life should be a little nuts; otherwise it's just a bunch of Thursdays strung together.

Hi Use the link to the calculator in cpjacksos post number 189 page 19 of this thread and enter the total cost of the kitchen that you want. This will tell you the amount of clubcard points you need and how much you will need to spend. The max you can pay for with deals vouchers is £1500 though.

This is per transaction surely? If you split the costs into separate transactions then you should be able to use more than £1500, or am I wrong?

You would need to buy 300 packs of beef at a cost of £198 and would get you a £600 kitchen.
And 500 packs at a cost £330 would get you a £1000 kitchen. Thanks to cpjackso for the calculator.
Every £1 voucher is worth £4 in clubcard deals

Anyone worried that beef is gonna get pulled from this offer pretty soon? It seems to be getting very popular now :)

I've managed to get my store to do an order for me - I want a holiday...but am just getting the points while I can - no plans yet. My delivery is set for Friday - I hope this lasts until then....I have promised the food (should it turn up) to local hostels (I don't eat beef :D).

All credit to those who have managed to obtain their required points..... I know some people will see all this as a bit mad...... but with this working out at getting things for approx 1/3 of listed cost (sometimes a bit pricier than it could be).....I think we're sane enough.

At the very least this and other threads have opened my eyes to clubcard deals...previously I just used the points as money off my tesco shopping. We had the organic burgers etc... which was good...the beef is better... let's hope there are more to come and we can all keep building up our points. As they are valid for two years there's a real chance to save for something really worthwhile....even the smaller things (alton towers etc.) works out rather nicely.
