Wonder what birds eye will make of the sudden demand for beef in gravy.

Perhaps they'll think we've all gone 'mad' if you excuse the pun!!!

According to my workings out 1049 x 2 = 2098
2098 / 4 = 524 clubcard points
524 / 0.5 (extra points per box of beef) = 1049 boxes of beef
1049 x 0.66 = approx. £692 for 2 people to go on this hol

Hope my maths is right!

So you dont have much further to go the Darran21 if you already have £400 worth???

Why do you divide the 2098 by 4 and then divide 524 by .5? Sorry I just want to make sense of this!

I just hope tesco's keep the beef in stock every day so I can keep buying it!!

Hi Jo4 - no probs.

I divide the total cost by four to convert the clubcard deals into clubcard points (as they are worth four times as much)

I divide by 0.5 because this is the extra points per box i.e. £1.50 worth for 3 boxes. (I have to think of the CC points as cash or I get all confused)

Hope this helps - as I say my maths is not great, I probably have it wrong!!!

how you going to get 2000 packs of beef, i cant see tesco selling that many to you in one go ?
and it will take ages to get them from the tesco of the self,as most of the freezer i have come across only hold about 40 ish.

Its more of a long term plan Mickydes - I am going to try and get as much beef as possible and keep collecting the CC points anyway. I agree 2000 is probably too much beef to hope for!!! I wonder how many cows that is?

looks like you be doing a lot of online buying as well, just hope your not in my city trying to get there 1st all the time lol( what city are you in ? lol)

Thanks! Bradford probably the nearest but I have about 5 good Tescos within a reachable distance.
