    Wow!! That's a great ebay amount :)

How about car boots? Your opticians savings is a lot - you don't have to pay for DD's glasses do you?

    Hi Sea
Haven't venturered to Car boot for a while as its tricky, DH goes to his archery club on a sunday morning and taking DD would be a nightmare. I have planned to do one though in April, when the weather gets a bit better and ive been stock piling all the things I can get rid of.
As for the glasses, DH has very poor eyesight and he has to generally get new glasses every year costing upwards of £200. This year however I intend of getting his prescription and then taking it online or to other places to see if we can get a better deal.

I would try selling on Amazon instead. I'm pretty sure their fees etc are lower than Ebay.

    Shelley
Have got loads of books on amazon at the moment, some I have sold but hoping the rest will go soon. Can you sell other stuff too??

HI Sally - how are you today?

    Sea xxx

    Morning All
Well update for me.....   Am so !!!!ed off with DH. He knows how im really trying to keep to budget. We have had so many problems with pipex and them taking payment at the wrong time, then not taking it for months, then taking more than expected and getting bank charges and DH has been quite frankly crap at sorting it out. I have been asking him all month to phone them up and sort it out, which he has but last month he kept back £200 to pay off the outstanding bill. Yesterday he was paid and he amazingly phoned them up, paid it off but used money from this months salary. So where the hell has the £200 he has last month gone?? Thin air apparently    . I know I have to let it go but im soooooo annoyed.
Then he has decided to cancel broadband and move which is fine as we can get it much cheaper, but means we will be without internet for about 3 weeks....how the hell am I going to cope!

Right moan over, going to see some friends today so that will be nice. Need also to now amend my spreadsheet on the budget grrrrrr

    Hi sallyx
You're better off without pipex, they are the worst telephone/isp I have had the misfortune to have dealings with. I have spoken to them that many times over the last 6 weeks I think I'm getting an invite to their Christmas party. They are hounding me for money I don't owe & one person from their accounts dept. even threatened to send bailiffs around to our house, in the end they end up owing us £19, which was supposed to be with us 2 days ago, so now its my turn to start pestering them for my money.

By the way well done for reducing your debt by so much so quickly, people like you are an inspiration to the rest of us

    Grrrrr
Having a bloody crap time at the moment, what with pipex payment of more than expected and then yesterday I got a puncture in the car driving to a friends house. £72 bloody pounds, there goes the money I had hoped to save from not paying council tax this month.
Anyway moan over, been at work all day today earning some much needed pennies and off to see who's on the board tonight

But look on the bright side. New tires during winter, especially a snowy one, never come in wrong.
