Boots Grabbit Bargains Part 16 - Post your finds here

There was a lovely big round box of protect and perfect products I haven't noticed before, and maybe it was there and I've never noticed. It has
the full sized P&P serum and travel sizes of the
day cream, night cream, eye cream as well as travel sizes of the lighten and brighten age spot corrector, younger, longer hand cream, soft and smoothed gentle toner, soft and smoothed gentle cleanser. Completely quenched moisture lotion and cleanse and care eye makeup remover
It is £20 and I used my £5 off voucher and picked up the gwp.
I think the box together with the gwp make a lovely mother's day present for £150 -
I am very disappointed with the service I have received from Boots recently. I am a loyal customer and feel I should be treated this way. I am upset by the sales assistant following me around the store – making me, and the people around me, think I had done something wrong. I am shocked that the sales assistant would not attempt the transaction using my points although there is no statement to say that I cannot use them. I am disappointed that the sales assistant kept my voucher from the magazine, as I can no longer get my free highlighter and I am also agitated by the problems I have been encountering whilst trying to shop on boots.com.
I understand that in customer service mistakes can be made. However, I am somewhat amazed that a large chain such as yourselves can have such poor customer service.
I am extremely disappointed with the whole experience and look forward to your
response.
Your prob more likely to get something eg free points and a sorry if you ring customer services and ask to speak to a manager. But the Sa was right in one way. Any coupon is classed as real money and therefore you can't pay with a mixture of points and coupon (real cash) it has to be all cash and coupons or points. However you should not have been treated like this i know we are trying to get good deals but shouldn't be made to feel like theives. Sorry you had such a bad time.:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boysWant to be fit for 30 not fat at 30but i want never gets!!!0 -

I'd do as lowrig suggested and follow it up with a written letter.
I was awarded quite a few points (I won't say how many as it won't make you feel any better) after writing a lengthy mail (which I won't post on the board - but I left out the shops involved and the SA's) and I wasn't particularly bothered about receiving points. An apology would have done.
So try snail mail. You've nothing to lose after all, but I can understand your anger after writing such a lengthy mail. And having to endure such a bad experience.
Mine took a couple of hours to write.
Sorry, I didn't realise kitiaracat had posted, so having to edit again, but ringing seems like a good idea too.
Thanks rubylouI'm only going to buy the lower priced end, and not often, just enough to round it up to £10

Perhaps the solution to the discussion about chat on the thread is for the thread to stay unchanged, but any glitch that is likely to last only an hour or two online could be posted as a separate stand-alone thread. This has happened before - I fondly remember extra points on toys/children's things which for about half a morning had no minimum spend.0

the only thing is if thats done wendy all those who do regularly participate on the thread lose out to all those who are grabby and buy for the sake of buying with little imput back into the threads.....same thing happened with the tesco/johnsons glitch - was fine until a thread started seperately on here and then the shelves were emptied by people buying truck loads!Win £2012 in 2012 challenge 0/2012

Hi, can anyone tell me if i get the pampers change bag and 1 packet of nappies (£5) with the PC voucher, does the bag count towards the total spend so i can use a 500pts WYS £10, or would i need to buy 2 packets of nappies IYSWIM? I'm sure some clever person must know!
The voucher is for to get the changing bag free with the pack of nappies, the bag scans as zero as far as I remember so you would need to buy 2 packs of nappies to get the 500 points, or any other baby items you may needs, includes clothing and toiletries etc.0 -
hi
after my fiasco of the boots stuff nicked from my shed i did get an appology letter with a £10.00 gift card enclosed, and they also let me keep the points on my advantage card.
as to the threads i enjoy a chat and like to update with what has happened successes and not so successful, but there are some (a minority) who just want to get down to the deals and not the chat, i find a little awkward when i have discussed a problem etc only for someone to complain about all the chat etc.
please dont flame me, i can understand people wanting to get down to the deals and nowt else, i feel like that with the tescos boards when i have completed my shopping and i am trying to checkout and search for a code the last thing you want to do when searching for a code is tons of chat. that is where i feel 2 boards will/shall help.

Yes I do see that. Did cpg post a while ago suggesting new glitches in bold? Would that work?0 -
Hi,
I was wondering whether anyone had a spare £5 of No7, RM voucher they don't need. I am currently skint and unfortunately cannot justify spending £10 in order to get a voucher.
I have got 2x Free £2 Digital Photo Printing Vouchers that I could swap.
Thanks.
the lowest spend I have managed to spend is 4.99 but I used the free highlighter voucher as well and then then till gives you a £5 voucher. I have not caught up yet so somebody else may tell you how to do it with a lower spend.0
