  • No Q10 for me, checked three stores!! Did get OH some Nivea shaving foam which had been reduced to 75p a can :D . My local ACMs have now been out of action for 3 days at least, which I find sooooooooo annoying, one is just switched off, the other says Offers Not Available, which I believe to mean it has run out of paper. I think I may call CS to have a moan as I am losing out on valuable offers ;) . I also uhmed and arred too long over buying a No7 Compact for £1.60 (90% off), and when I went back for it, surprise surprise, it had gone. Would have bought it and combined it with a highlighter, never mind. Good news today however, when to a smallish store further afield, and they had the same No 7 compact!! Came up as £16  , but SA knew it should be £1.60 so adjusted price. No highlighters in this store (or Q10), so paid with points, and weyhey, the compact has a 200pt No7 voucher in it! £1.60 just for the mini mascara was worth it, but to get the whole thing free with points was even better.

Thanks for all the tips guys, keep up the good work :D .

Please dont get rid of the chat, I love it it keeps me sane knowing that there are others out there as mad as me about Boots and Freebies. I have used the Tesco thread a few times but find it quite intimidating (sp) as there is no chat and just bargins, this tread however is friendly, supportive and everyone is just so helpful. I would miss the chat if it were banned.

PS i forgot to say that if it wernt for the chat last night I would not have known Lost was back on ( being a massive fan I dont know how I missed it lol) so thanks to everyone who mentioned it, I had to multistart it 4 times before I managed to watch it all.

  • No reduced Q10 to be found anywhere!

But I did successfully mange to get the No7 GWP :j using the following:

    No7 Highlighter £10.25
    No7 Dream Lash Mascara £10.50
    No7 GWP FOC

    Used £5.00 off a £20.00 spend PC
100 Points WYB Dream Lash Mascara
    Free Highlighter H&B Voucher

Only cost £5.50 in cash (also had the points:cool: )

The £5.00 PC voucher did beep but SA doublechecked the coupon and got the 'pink key' out to override it!

On the down side, I forgot to use my 200pts Pantenne voucher in all the excitement! Oh well!

Do any of the Derby retail park stores have the Q10 left??? Probably not if any of us boosters have been in there ;) . But if anyone has seen and left any, could you let me know as my points could do with a boost!

Excuse this for being a long post, but I'm so annoyed!!! I had a rather horrendous visit to Boots @ Deepdale last week. I emailed boots on Tuesday, and only just recieved my reply today. The reply states that the voucher SHOULD say cannot be used in conjuction with points, but it doesnt. Thats all it said. No sorry, no free points. Nothing.

Disgusted is an understatement. After all the trouble with the sale items not being available, my terrible shop and now the poor response from customer services, I am seriously considering giving up Boots and taking my custom elsewhere.

Here is the letter I sent:

    Dear Sir or Madam:

Maybe send it as a letter to them as well?

The trip certainly did make us feel better. ;)

Glad she's on the mend, you must have been worried sick. I remember being told a few weeks before dd1 had her's by the Health Visitor that I needed to make sure she did not have any reactions to egg ~ because the vaccine is grown on an egg culture. Maybe she had a reaction to that??

    Hi,

Thanks for your kind words.:A We were worried but we are so use to her being sick that it just meant more frequent clean ups!

I didn't know that about the egg problem. Egg is one of the diary products she does not have a reaction too. My health visitor never gives advice like this I have to ask the question first!

I was in the Stockton on Tees store yesterday and was told (albeit very politely) that I couldn't use the Highlighter voucher and get the GWP with the No. 7 Colour Adapting Foundation (even thought the total spend, before the Highlighting voucher would have been over £20) frown.gif. I'm a newbie myself and think this site is wonderful - so many helpful tips and such friendly people. Thanks to everyone for making this such a great place to visit biggrin.gif

Did the SA tell you why you couldn't use it with that particular foundation Mari?

    Hi ruby :)

Have you any idea how long the 1/3 off offer is on for pls? I bought a couple of things yesterday to make the basket up to £10 ;) but I really like the look of it as a gift for someone.

    TIA.

    Hi Passion

I'm not sure how long this offer is on for. I think the Fcuk and mediterrean range are included too with a third off.

Next time you're in Boots I would just get what you need from S&G range that's what I did lol.:D I remember trying to see if there was a date but didn't notice one so sorry I can't help x
