this is undoubtedly the best thread,on the best forum, with the best people on the best site, on the net

Please dont change it, if it aint broken, why fix it.
we live in a world full of rules, regs and restrictions, and people lose their human touch sometimes when communicating via the net.
the boots site is a warm oasis of humanity in a cold world

    lets keep it like that.xxxxx

here, here:D :D:D I love this thread too and all the peeps who post on here:D :D:D

I cant see how you can have a thread with just bargains and glitches on,as they always need explaining and then someone else comes along and suggests an additional glitch or reports that it didn't work,or needs more info.
Where would you draw the line???

I enjoy the chat and it has kept me sane while I was virtually housebound in plaster after my operation.Although I couldn't get out I enjoyed reading everyones exploits.

I think a lot of lonely people use these forums ,mums stuck at home ,poorly people etc and I'd hate to think they didn't feel welcome to join in.

I found myself unable to sleep as I was very worried about something over Friday night.I got up for a cup of tea and logged in ,it happened to be 5.30am so I joined in with the early crew and bagged a few early morning bargains!
I have to say it was great therapy,I felt so much better after and went back off to bed!

I see a NO CHAT thread has been started:eek:
    :j I love bargains:j

I've not had an opportunity to come on here for nearly a whole week!

My poor little baby girl had her MMR jab on Wednesday and did not react very well to it! She's been really sick - everywhere! It's bad enough that she has reflux so when she is sick she's really sick. Also had a high temperature. Ahh, well she's on the mend now.

Anyway back to Boots. Actually managed to pop out today to London Colney (thought the fresh air would do us both some good ;)) to use the no7 voucher.

    No nivea Q products reduced.

    However I did get this;

    No7 dream lash mascara @ £10.50
    No7 highlights powder @ £10.25
    Free no7 GWP
Olay total effects cream wash was £5.99 now £3.99
    Natural nail varnish @ £1.79
    Baby Toothbrush @ £1.99
    Baby Toothpaste @ £0.89

    Total to pay = £29.41

    Then I used:

    Highlighter voucher = £10.25
    No7 voucher = £5
PC Voucher for olay total effects = 500 points
ACM voucher for natural collection = 150

    Total to pay = £14.16 and 650 points :j

Hi, can anyone tell me if i get the pampers change bag and 1 packet of nappies (£5) with the PC voucher, does the bag count towards the total spend so i can use a 500pts WYS £10, or would i need to buy 2 packets of nappies IYSWIM? I'm sure some clever person must know!

  • No Q10 for me, checked three stores!! Did get OH some Nivea shaving foam which had been reduced to 75p a can :D . My local ACM have now been out of action for 3 days which I find sooooooooo annoying, one is just switched off, the other says Offers Not Available, which I believe to mean it has run out of paper. I think I may call CS to have a moan as I am losing out on valuable offers ;) . I also uhmed and arred too long over buying a No7 Compact for £1.60 (90% off), and when I went back for it, it had gone. Would have bought it and combined it with a highlighter, never mind. Good news today however, when to smallish store further afield, and they had the same compact!! Came up as £16  , but SA knew it should be £1.60 so adjusted price. No highlighters in this store (or Q10), so paid with points, and weyhey, the compact has a 200pt No7 voucher in it. £1.60 just for the mini mascara was worth it, but to get the whole thing free with points was even better.

Thanks for all the tips guys, keep up the good work

Glad she's on the mend, you must have been worried sick. I remember being told a few weeks before dd1 had her's by the Health Visitor that I needed to make sure she did not have any reactions to egg ~ because the vaccine is grown on an egg culture. Maybe she had a reaction to that??
