ALL glitches, offers etc are on the first post.
And yes you may want to see what that person bought in the transaction and how they used vouchers but if you take a took most have a little link to the OPs post.
I never in the 15 months on this thread have heard anybody moaning about the chat until NOW.I heart The Capital0 -
Keep the chat!!!!:T :T :T
Please:D:j I love bargains:jI love MSE0 -
I'm a newbie.
I've been made to feel welcome, and I love the thread, with all its chat and banter - so much, that I tried my hardest to find something useful to post, so I could maybe add something to the thread. I posted last night - and if you trawl back through 4 or 5 pages, you'll see it!:rotfl:
The truth of the matter is, if all that was posted on here were the bargains and glitches, which you guys work so hard to find and explain to share with the rest of us, it would be SO EASY for any odd bod just to log on and print off a list without joining in or contributing ANYTHING (not only bargains, but sharing enthusiasm, trying to cheer up someone who has had a bad day.....all the rest of the stuff which makes this thred such a blessing), snaffling all our bargains, whilst we have our noses deep in a mug of hot chocolate. It's easier to scan through the thread when you are used to it, if you are pressed for time, than it must be for a random predator... Maybe this isn't in the spirit of MSE? but this thread is. If you follow it carefully, it teaches you how to find and share your own bargains - not just benefit from everyone else's work.
I love it the way it is - and marvel at how the stupendous :A crazyposhgal:A extracts the nuggets of gold for the first post!0 -
I am a newbie but out of all the other threads/boards this is my fav; I never knew this "Bootsing" lark exsisted before last week  (I lead a very dull life!!)
The chat makes me laugh out loud at times and that is so welcome when your days are not always so happy.
I have learnt loads and have my list of what I need to do when next in Boots with all my vouchers; I even wrote them down last night so as not to forget; I did say I lead a dull life :rotfl:
I am happy with whatever you all do/decide ... I am just happy to be part of something that is friendly, kind and supportive with their words :T
Have a very nice day and keep warm ... totally freezing in Bristol :hello:0 -

Perfectly said Loverlee ... wish I could have said what I was thinking like that
You have got it so right ..... :T0 -
Those of you who shop in Hull or Doncaster what are the Boots stores there like for accepting vouchers? Also I bought a £10 top up from my little boots store, should I have got a £5 No7 voucher?? I didn't get one so I thought maybe top ups not included.
Morning lucygotit and all
Not sure about Doncaster, but I found yesterday (Sunday) was the best day I'd had shopping in Hull's Prospect Centre. The store was mainly staffed with the younger SA's, who didn't seem to care that about £30's worth of stuff was going through for £5.50Plenty of magazines and some decent clearance stuff too.
If you're only visiting for Boots in Prospect Centre, try to park up in Tesco's car park in St Stephen's Square - you'll save at the minimum £2.70, (I think) as Tesco's give you 2 hours for free and it's just a short walk across the road to Boots. Not all of the stores in the centre are open, but that's a blessing sometimes. Something always catches my eye lol, but there's always the new shops in St Stephens.
Not sure about the top up, but need one myself so will try it later this week.

I also like the chit chat - but there are days when you simply want to find out what the offers are and where.
So for that reason i would prefer a thread like Tesco's one for offers only and one for chat.
Two threads gets my vote too - there would be some overlapping (chat about a great bargain) but I would find a separate thread, which would move less fast, really helpful.0 -
Just to add to the debate, would it be easier if posts were marked as off topic, as I've just done. :A lol.
Personally, I love all of the chatterOh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. ~ Sir Walter Scott0 -
yes well said .com loverlee, i am myself a newbie on this site but find this the best part of mse, i check this bit regulary 3-4 times a day and find it brilliant when people tell of what bargains they have recieved. Also i joined this to save money and since jan i have accumalated a lot of stuff for free and very cheap as well as a lot of points, however a few arguments with my OH until he saw the logic of all this and when i dragged him to the 75% off sale and paid for everything with my points did he shut up:rotfl: about me wasting money and not saving it;)
thanks everyone for this little community and i hope it stays like this0 -
I've not been on here long but I love this site. I am slowly learning how to boost my points total as well as getting stuff for free and saving money. I also love the chat, reading what people have bought and how they have done it.
I have saved so much money towards birthday and Christmas presents, mainly thanks to eveeryone on here.
I managed to find a reduced Nivea Q10 eye cream (£1.69) in the small boots in Durham today and would never have thought about buying something to get extra points before. There was however no night cream in either of the Durham Boots but still LOADS of mags.
Does anyone know where the reduced bit is in the Market Place Boots in Durham?saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200
