I also like the chit chat - but there are days when you simply want to find out what the offers are and where.

So for that reason I would prefer a thread like Tesco's one for offers only and one for chat.

I agree, while the chat and banter is fine (and I love reading about everyones bargains and shopping trips :T ), if I'm not on for a day, and log in to find 10 new pages, its a nightmare to trawl through them to see if there any good glitches or offers. If we could have 2 threads, I think that would be the best idea, so I can read the chat one when I want to and easily check the current glitches and bargains.

For those people who, I know, will tell me to check the first post, it doesn't work that way. Offers are updated all the time, some of them come and go in a flash (online gltiches) and sometimes you need to read exactly what someones bought and what they bought it with (how they gave the vouchers over, etc) to get some of the offers. And the first post isn't going to update these in time, or cover enough of the details.

So I'm all for 2 threads! Where can I sign up :j

That's what the first page is for:D
Crazyposhgal updates it virtually every day as she reads every single post on here and updates page 1 as she finds new glitches that people have posted.

This thread has always been about chat, it definately is a forum with a community and newbies are always welcomed it's just that sometimes it gets too fast to keep up questions get missed/lost pretty quick before people have had a chance to answer.

Always check the first post, there's loads of info on there. That's not directed just at you bbford, it's just a reminder to all bootsers new and old that the 1st post is really useful to read on a regular basis :D

So can i suggest 1 thing,if you don't like the chat why not create a new thread with the title "boots bargain thread, for the grumps" :D
I bet that thread wouldn't get half the hits this one gets :p
    :rotfl: Hehe

I personally find this thread VERY useful and I know I'm not the only one who thinks this AND I'm sure I'm not the only one who has written down the shopping combo's that Boot-a-holics have had success with either.

I guess some folks just don't like to have a laugh thus why they might be complaining?

Their site is c*** but it does help if you can get to the log-in page and once you are logged in it seems to work better

I like a laugh more than most actually. I just don't have the time some days to trawl through the entire thread in search of bargains. I'd like the OPTION of not having to. I'm a single parent to 2 and a full-time student. I simply gave my opinion on the idea of 2 threads, I never said there shouldn't be any chat!

Perhaps the people complaining about the people complaining might want to have a think before they make such sweeping, rude statements. Not everyone has the time to read through 10 pages a day, and if I did have, as I sometimes do want to read the chat, then I would like the option of doing that as well. I personally can't see any problem at all with having 2 threads. To me it makes sense, but thats only MY opinion. Please don't have a go at me for it!

from my point of view having been here what feels like forever we were always been told off for chatting, posts being deleted that didnt have glitches or boots info in, the threads being closed etc so i think when an 'oldie' comes along to mention the chat its only as a friendly warning of what 'may' happen. Im sure they dont mean anything by it and arent moaning, the one thing that seems to get people annoyed though is when a 'newbie' comes along who doesnt really participate on the threads and then complains because they cant find info on glitches which doesnt seem fair and in my opinion 2 threads would be good as i do hesitate sometimes as im still in the 'old' frame of mind about chatter and worried i might be the cause of the thread closing.......would be nice to feel free to chat about anything with the boots gals! :D (oops and guys!!)
