I think the Boots thread exists its own little cosy world, far away from the brisk, workmanlike (and often very dull) main forum. I mean, we're just as rabid bargin hunters here as anywhere else, but we do it with a cup of tea and a bun in hand. And a gossip!

(And that was me who made the comment about the grey fleece, btw!)

:rotfl::T Thanks Valk! lol - It's a good job I was being complimentary about you ! I love stuff like that - you're right - it is 'gossip' that makes this thread stand out! It would be a bit dull if it was all just facts.
I also forgot to mention before - I am surprised by people's venom towards ebayers sometimes. I am not a seller but I know some lovely people who do ebay because they are basically skint. They haven't got horns ! It's very hard work and you don't make much sometimes, but good luck to them, and hopefully they wouldn't be put off posting here. I probably miss out in the Boots sale to ebayers sometimes (damn them!) but life's not always fair so que sara (is that spelt right??).

I too like the chat on here, i find the this board very friendly and more welcoming than the other boards. It would be a shame if the chat on here had to stop, i find this board really helpful and i like finding out about how other people have done.
