ad aware.
will all these work with vista?

AVG definitely works, as does Ad-Aware 2007 and ZoneAlarm.

The new version of Spybot is not worth it, imho. I don't know what it's like on Vista, but if my experiences with it on XP SP3 are anything to go by, avoid it. It's slow and buggy as hell.0

CCLeaner works as well, for general tidying up.
Have had Vista for nearly a year on one laptop. Wish I had stuck to XPWe all evolve - get on with it0 -

Zonealarm really impacts on the system when installed on Vista - you'll find your laptop going really REALLY slowly!!0

I'm assuming you will have vista 32bit. If your laptop has the 64bit version installed, then zonealarm will not install.0

Here are a couple of starters...........my video capture card drivers, many versions of Nero Burning Rom, DVD Audio Ripper, TBI Viewer.

I run it on a PC without problems and no apparent impact on performance
