I don't recall saying (or implying) that no-one can sell freebie sims on eBay - I suggest you re-read my post.

Obviously people can (and do) sell sims on eBay etc (largely with no repercussions I'd assume). I was merely making the point of what COULD potentially happen (worst case scenario). I'm sure I read on this forum a while back that someone had an experience where they had sold a simcard and for whatever reason, it had been traced back to them and they had to prove they had sold it on.

To be fair, I think if someone was going to use a simcard for anything dodgy, they'd be stupid to buy it off eBay because it could obviously be traced to them, so I don't see any real problem in selling them on ebay (if you can actually find someone who wants to buy them !!).

I would definitely avoid selling at car boot sales etc, as that way you'd have no details of the person you are selling to and no proof if there's ever any comeback as regards illegal use.

I think you may be at cross-purposes here.
The OP asked about what to do with spare simcards received as freebies and SqueakyRat suggested they sell them in bulk.
I assume you are talking about your Splash Card which has your name on it? - no-ones suggesting that you sell that on eBay !!!!;)

Buying and selling gold numbers is one thing, but for most people just wanting to get rid of a few sims they have received as freebies (presumably NOT gold numbers) there's no real money to be made - a lot of sims go unsold on eBay, and if you do manage to sell them, by the time you pay your Ebay and Paypal fees it's hardly worth the hassle (in my opinion). ;)
