Or use the £5 credit to pay for a "Splash Plastic" card via quidco for £10 cashback.
Someone on the other thread stated that it costs £5.50 with a Virgin Mobile (ie 50p for the text sent, and £5 for the text received) so it's no good if you've got the sims with just £5 on them.

Just to note I was charged £5.50 to sign-up via text to Splash on Virgin SIM not the stated £5!

    03-Jan-08 21:47:00 700040023 1.0 Text service received £5.00
    03-Jan-08 21:43:00 60999 1.0 Text service sent £0.50

Has already tracked on Quidco @£10

Is anyone else able to verify this ?

but Virgin will presumably have a record of the mobile numbers (or at least the simcard numbers) and who they send them out to, so they will still be traceable to the original owners if they happen to get into the wrong hands. :naughty:

it has my name on so why would anyone want to buy it unless to use it pretending to be me. when registering you just type an activation code in. so anyone could use the card for fraud or anything.
