Bit of advice required ladies, just made docs appt to get the pill, i've been on it before and both times put on over a stone:eek: Now i've just lost a stone and would really like not to find it again, is there a particular type of pill that doesnt make you porky:o

The minipill is better that the combined one at not making you gain weight but anything that affects hormone levels has the potential to make you gain weight.

Maybe it is a case of changing them every few months until you find the one that is right for you.. I can't take any as they just make me really ill.. which is fabulous combined with my latex allergy lol

ooh I have £75 coming in cashback from various places as well.. cool! that will go in my christmas fund

Morning everyone - Didn't get a chance to post my flying last night so here goes:

Wednesday - Master Bedrooms and Landings
Level One
[strike]Strip bed linen and wash, replace with clean linen[/strike]
Check fire alarms are working
Level Two
[strike]Remove floordrobe from the floor! [/strike][strike]
[/strike]Vacuum floors in these areas
Level Three
Vacuum mattress
Clean tops of drawers
Check through one drawer making sure only what needs to be is in there!

[strike]WM x 2[/strike]
[strike]DW[/strike]
[strike]Quick front room tidy up[/strike]
[strike]Put shoes away[/strike]

Not loads done - will have to sort the rest out on Saturday.

MollyGeorge - This is my first proper week of flying and I work Full Time. My plan is to do as much on Level 1, 2 & 3 each evening and pick up on whatever if left on Saturday/Sunday. So far this week, I have spent between 30 minutes and an hour cleaning each evening and the house looks lovely! On Saturday, I will pick up what I've missed and do any extra's if I'm feeling brave...!

gunsandbanjos - I think that most pills state a possible side effect of weight gain. I am on the injection and have been for years and have never noticed any weight gain with it.

Must get on with some work. Anyone for a :coffee: ? I'm making.

I'm dog-sitting for the next two nights and am so excited. I'm trying to push OH to get a dog but, he won't budge til his family pet has gone to doggy heaven, which I understand. I miss having dogs - have had them all my life.

Winds are blowing like mad today - hope no one has any washing out on the line....!
