Morning all
Blowing a gale here this morning, and as its bin day they're flying everywhere - so glad OH is walking DD to school :rotfl: .
I'm at home again today so hopefully will be able to catch up a bit. Did most of Mondays list yesterday so today hope to do Tuesday and Thursday as I dont like Wednesdays.
I like to read all the posts too but cant always remember whos's doing what but I am thinking of you all if you are troubled and I am laughing at your antics.
Welcome to anyone new - and to Mollygeorge - yes I work F/T just skiving yesterday and today so playing catch up. The secret if you ask anyone on here is to find a daily routine that will help you the following morning, and then start on the list with baby steps. Dont try it all at once as it gets disheartening and everything takes longer to start with. You then begin to realise that things like wiping cupboards down can be done while you boil the kettle, and we all like our cuppas! so you get plenty done.
Best go shower now and do something before OH gets home and finds me in front of the screen again.
TTFNMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
The wind last night!!!!!
Two Pointing roof tiles (the ones that are like half pipes and go at the top) have been blown off my roof, one landed in the garden and one on the pavement beside my car!!!!! It's stone tiles too!
Heard a crash during the night that woke me with a fright, but I was so sleepy I couldn't get up to see what it was. Where it came from is the corner we have our boiler so I spent all night dreaming it was blowing up, or bits had been blown off, so not a very good sleep.
Will have to find all the insurance stuff and give them a call.
Now it's snowing. I am not going out today at all... oh wait... I need to go get baby wipes...0 -
Welcome Molly George - and thanks for the reply re LO - he has size 4F feet at 15 mths so not too small, got him new shoes last week - DD2 walked at 10 mths and we struggled to get her shoes as feet were tiny!

Toria my 5 year old is a 7.5.. but she is just a mini-person.. some of the children in years 5 and 6 are huge.. they are way bigger than me.. makes me wonder if I should have brought mine up on junk food as that is all they ever seem to eat and they are huge compared to my brood.

Do you not just put in your maximum bid and leave it?The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0
