  • Evening!

I'm in this week - thanks for the list lil_me

I've sorted the school uniforms and clothes for tomorrow and the lunches so I'm off to slob in front of the TV.
Hopefully I'll keep up with you all during the week.

    Hope
    xx

School uniforms all done just jumpers in the tumble dryer, another load on in washing machine. So tired tonight so heading to bed, night everyone.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Phew is all I can say! The tax return is done and I am now lighter to the tune of £1200

AnW'sMum - I sympathise with the tax return. And wish mine was as 'light' as yours. I did mine Friday afternoon and it hurt! The final figure was just over twice yours. And there's the same to pay in July.

I think I've said before that I feel that I'm simply an unpaid tax collector....

lol I know what you mean, I've got some more to find in July as well. I made life much harder for myself by not recording everything in Do$h until this weekend  So my mission is to get everything else up to date so that when I get the next return (got this one back in May I think  ) I shall be able to complete it way ahead of January. I let an awful lot slide since DH died and I need to get a grip with things including this house! Personal finances I have kept up to date with, been very MSE making sure we have the best accounts etc which in turn complicates things and makes me scratch my head a lot when I think who the accounts are with and how long and how much interest did we get etc etc :rotfl:

Oh well it's done and paid for now. Just need to sort the car insurance out (runs out tomorrow  ) and then the tax credit people as they are using the wrong figures  oh and W's godfather arrives next Sat am. I likes a challenge I does!

ARGH!! I have to parcel up catalogue returns.. next sent me a couple of things wrong which I must return.. and I have 2 from freemans to do.. good job it is the same courier.. only problem is .. she will turn up about 7am and hammer me out of bed... she starts delivering at 6:30am.. EVERY day.. apart from Sunday.. she has now been told if she has stuff for me on a Saturday to bring it Monday becuse I won't get out of bed!!

bread dough just mixing so I'll get the bombs done in a minute..

I'm part way through sorting my ebay vs turbolister items so we shall see what I have never listed yet is still languishing in the box waiting patiently to be sold.. It is even more boring than parcelling stuff up!!

YES!!! £38.99 so far on ebay.. :D.. 10 out of my 120 have bids.. fling fling fling!!!! I may find the bits with bids now and put them in a seperate box to the rest.. see if that helps any.. well.. tomorrow.. lol

Solway and dusty - well I cheated with the ironing. DH offered to do and he did about two hours worth!!!!!! See, he's DH not OH tonight. He also made a lovely roast tonight....maybe I should give him a surprise burns supper more often.

AnW'sMum - bell ringing sounds good fun. It's one of those things i've always fancied but there's no where that does it round here.

I'm going to start a new challenge for myself - i'm going to do five minutes in the garden every day. Chances are that it will be more than five minutes but even if that's all I managed it'll still be over half an hour a week and will make a difference. I really want the garden looking good this year as we've got a greenhouse now and I want to start seeds etc early for our allotment. So, if anyone wants to join me in the 5GC challenge feel free.

I'm going to update my list and go and read for an hour. Here's to a good week xx
