I know what folk mean by not making the most of being thin! So now (and I'm 16-18 big boobs, and 5'6'') I make the most of being me!!! LOL! Explains my recent obsession with shoes! And that I can still claim to be an hour glass figure, just a larger hour glass, maybe a two-hour glass. oh..
Plus, with boobs like ours, all you do is wear a low cut top and NOBODY is looking anywhere else!
Lil_me, you have left us with pipen again?! EEEKKK!!! Take care, and don't run away! You need to be a fly gobsh*te like the rest of us!
You love me and you know it!! .. now.. where did I 'tidy' that whip to?? hhhmmm.... lol
I'm 5ft 3, 32E and a definite hourglass.. or 2 or 3 hourglass.. lol .. (more like a pint glass lass!!) I actially think a lot of my weight gain has been on my boobs.. I am wearing the same clothes as when I was 2.5 stone lighter.. yet the chesticles are ever expanding!! .. and to be fair.. who looks at the rest with a chest like this?!!!?? .. You ask my hubby.. and he is REALLY delighted that they aren't saggy droopy or keeping my knees warm when I take off my (not-so) skimpies.. He hasn't used the 'anything more than a handful is a waste' line in AAAAGES!!!!! lol
Make the most of what you have.. call them 'curves' and no man likes a boney female.. believe me.. I've asked a LOT!!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Hugs Maralum - I know just how you feel. I'd definitely like to be a stone lighter but the problem is food just likes being eaten by me! I'm another one who can lose weight but the bust seems to get bigger rather than smaller and i'm definitely hour glass. At the last measurement I was a 32G - how I would love to be an F, lol. Hugs, hugs and more hugs.
Lil_me - I hope the studying goes well. I know too well how things can build up when you first start studying but I hope you'll be back in charge soon.
Pigpen - brilliant (I think) that you're taking over again but please be nice to us!!!
Need to find my list now and see what i've got left to do. Will edit this post when I find it xx
Tuesday - Lovely Living Rooms and Safe Stairs
Level One
Vacuum floors in these areas, even if around clutter
Clear anything from the stairs! Safe stairs are a must
Level Two
Move clutter so you can vacuum under it
Vacuum and wipe (if needed) sofas
Dust any areas below eye level
Level Three
Dust anything above eye level (if safe to do so)
Clear anything that shouldn't be where it is, ahem that includes that cup!
Wipe the bits next to the steps on the stairs, yours might be skirting board, edging of some sort, grab a cloth and give it a wipe
Extra Mission Tasks - as usual if you fancy tackling something else you could try one or more of these
- Spend 15 minutes sorting paperwork, dealing with anything urgent NOW
- Wipe down window frames in these rooms (inside) clean any marks from window
My extra list:
- packed lunches
- clean clinic
- mop all downstairs floors
- walk dog
- sort out recycling
- new shoes for DS
- buy washing powder
- 5minGC
And poohbear you are so right that I need to stop obsessing about doing everything. I tend to only do stuff when the children are at school or at clubs but sometimes I just need to take a break. I need to try and stop filling all the time i'm not working with other things! I must learn to relax, I must learn to relax!0 -
Thanks my lovelies! You have galvanised me into action! Have just put an Ifits 2-day Irish stew into the SC - it will be fine for the boys and my recipe allows for the baby too. As of next week, I will start eating the things I like again. :j
DH will eat white fish, so I'll start cooking that as opposed to my delicious trout and salmon (but compromise in this instance may turn out to be a good thing if it makes them eat more healthily). I'll also start involving DS in the cooking process more, but I'll have to have a snack ready for when he gets home from school - he's always starving when he gets back.
You're right pigpen, I am still breastfeeding (if the baby has her way, we'll never stop! :rotfl: ), so I know I shouldn't be too rough on myself as I still need some extra meat on my bones.
It's a bit tough when my mum and nan are absolutely obsessed about my weight though. Whenever I se them it's "Oh no, you've put on again!" or "Still no luck losing the extra weight then?". Pressure much? I know why, it's because the ladies in my family do tend to expand as we get older and get lots of heart problems, but good lord, after a bit, it just makes them seem like a couple of old witches!!!!! They don't even say hello first, they just steam on in with the nasty comments....grrrrr.
Thanks for the tips Lil_me, I'm tempted to make it part of my flying routine - 1: Prepare the breakfast table before bed, so I don't rush around sorting everyone else first. 2: Have the same breakfast as Freya, she eats mushed, steamed fruit (I'll just skip the mushing process for me :rotfl: ). 3: Decide what to eat tomoorow in advance, that way I don't have to rush around on the day.
Off to get little man now, be back in later though. Thanks again, it was just so nice to be heard.0 -
Ok I blame Tia, saying time to go to the school, I was just about to dash to the school, threw my duster down, coat on the lot (ok I lied about the duster was more like a cuppa) as I got to the door I remembered it's flippin' Tuesday and DS2s after school club is on so doesn't need collecting until 4pm  must remember to collect him normal time when this course ends :rotfl: think it's next week or week after so I best check tonight.
Right, I suppose I should get these curtains up, managed to get some 'free' s hooks today, I was 11 short and Roseby's had none so I moaned and she took some off a display curtain for meI like free things the best.
maralum, have a word with your Mam and Nan, tell them it's upsetting you, for your own sanity if nothing else. Being heard is what we're all here for. Routine with eating and dealing with other household stuff will probably be a great start, routine keeps me sane! One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
Maralum.. just tell them you aren't even trying and if they have a problem maybe they should close their eyes!! Either way you don't need to hear it! If it helps.. when I stopped BFing mine I lost between 2 and 4 stone in WEEKS!!.. literally.. I thought I was going to fade away a few times!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Also meant to send hugs to Tia - I can't stand parent politics so I tend to ignore everyone!0
