Hello again, level 2'd the kitchen, tidied up the back pantry (where the hoover and ironing board and laundry and spuds and shoes live..), finally did the ironing along with University Challenge (don't laugh, I like it), spoke or rather listened to my Bro on the phone for a bit and skimmed through the posts.
Maralum, how blue her eyes are! Sweet girl.
Boots..wouldn't have the nerve even if I was 15 years younger, more of a bike boot girl if I ever get my legs out. Secretly envious of them though.
Daniel Craig? No thanks. Vin Diesel..mmm
I liked Mudbath's 5min GC but I'd have to do it by torchlight. Morning or evening it's dark when I leave/return home.Definitely when it starts getting lighter though. After my first bash at gardening of the season yesterday I ached so much this morning. Especially my bum, I couldn't sit down without pulling faces and got some saucy comments..
The evening has dissapeared again. I need to work out why my e-mail account is down then get an earlyish night. Love you and leave you until tomorrow evening. Solway.. (..kid, as in baby goat, woohoo I can join the animal gang!)xOne debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400

Mudbath I guess he is year 2? Sometimes they start getting strict at school to try to kerb the kids who like to visit the loo as something to do. They expect them to go at breaktimes and start to deter them from going in 'lesson' time. Could he be worried to ask at school?
Done nothing this evening except chat to my mother on the phone. Too late to concentrate now. I am going to watch the repeat about those women pretending dolls are real babies in a minute. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Hiya Dusty
You could be right. My children have always been weird and only gone to the toilet maybe two or three times a day. However, he's doing a lot more sport now so I wonder if he's drinking more and not used to the fact that he keeps needing to go to the loo. I told OH on the phone tonight and he reckons it's a boy thing and he's just getting to engrossed and forgetting to go. Think i'll remind him every so often when he's with me and try not to make a big thing of it. I bet it's something that he won't think of again and i'll obsess and stress about it forever more! I did notice he came in clutching a fruit shoot and he said it was his second one...i'm a meanie and don't really buy then so it could just have been liquid overload.
Think i'll add to my list for tomorrow - i will not stress about my son! lol!
DHs just told me he'll probably stop working abroad in March instead of July so fingers crossed as he's pretty good and pulling his weight.
That programme about the dolls is scary! No fear that i'll start doing that as I've found dolls freaky since I was little.0 -
Just started watching the 'Fake Baby' program, weeeeeird!!!The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Hello All. Well been to the gym tonight and have to say feel better for it.
Mudbath hope you DS is alright and glad he can talk to you.
I agree with you when you say about reminding him maybe you could say you need to go and then it will remind him. My DS is only 4 so I don't really have that problem. If I need to go to the toilet then DS normally want to as well. Get excited at washing his handsI am sure that whatever you decide to do will be the right thing.
Have to agree about the dolls too. I think I blame it on the film Chucky and a series on BBC1 when I was younger called Malestrom. Where did I remember that from!!January Grocery 11/3740 -
Thanks for your support mumofjusttwo - and to everyone else too - it shows how invaluable this thread is. I don't like those dolls...i'm going to have nightmares tonight!0

Well girls, I didn't get the ironing done! Started to get headache, so just sitting, then brother phoned and was on for half an hour checking details for Mum's memorial plaque and remembrance book, coz it needs doing before the anniversary. I've spoken to him twice today! I'd just set off for work when my phone rang, so I pulled in at the bus stop by Police HQ and was talking to my work colleague when I saw Nigel walking towards me. (He works at PHQ) so he stopped for a quick chat. Nice boy - not too proud to give his big sis a good morning kiss, even at 42! I'm so glad we moved closer three years ago. We don't see loads of him and his family (although his daughters go to youth club with my son and same school when he's well enough), not every week, but we know each other's there.
Anyway, it's now rather too late to start ironing. I still have some stuff to print off for work, so I'll do that while the bath runs. I've done my prospective list for tomorrow, hoping I'll feel as energised, but I have got more travelling, so we'll see.
Hello to any newbies. Don't forget to pace yourself - that's what I was told, so it's taken me a few weeks to get into the swing of things. I've not been on this thread that long myself, but I'm so glad I found you. Hugs to anyone who needs/wants one. Glad most of the little people seem to be improving (and some of the bigger ones, too!)
