I can't believe I've managed so much. You have all really motivated me, and guess what? The house that I moved in to three years ago was here all the time! I just needed to find it properly again instead of just "flicking the surface". Anyway, DH is going to finish the dinner clearing up and promised to leave kitchen tidy. DS has cleared the table. That leaves me free to sort out some work stuff ready for morning and be organised to be in Neath by 9.30, and if I've the energy, I may even do the ironing!:T Then I might even have time for some knitting before I go for a bath and beddy byes. I actually feel better "mentally" as though this is clearing those cobwebs too!

Well, I did it. So cheers - I have treated myself to a G&T.

Spuds are in the oven, beetroot I bought from the greengrocer today is boiling up. Just need to chop the salad and carve some cold chicken from yesterday once the spuds are done and voila dinner!

Little gits have just taken 3 eggs upstairs and broken 2 of them.. so I've gone MAD at them.. so they are are now cleaning the back room as punishment.. community service!! ..

    Dare I ask why?

I had scrambled eggs for my dinner, as I grabbed 2 from the fridge my little pinky went straight thru the shell of one, crushing it & goo-ing up the fridge tray, & my finger.
DS3 has discovered chewing gum but just chews it for a minute then spits it in the bin and asks for anther piece.

Blagh sick3qx.gif I hate chewing gum, makes me gag.
I hate the thought of chewing & chewing like a cow chewing cud & not actually eating. And the noises some people make chewing it sick3qx.gif

SNAP! I had this last year with my 5 yo - the 3yo was great and got it straight away. Dd was coming home from school with a bag of wet clothes at least twice a week. It was really frustrating and in the end we started a sticker chart. I knew she was after a Bratz scooter and they were half price in Argos at the time. She had to work for it though - 4 small star stickers (4 dry days) in a row equalled a large star sticker and 6 large stickers equalled the scooter. With a couple of accidents in the first week it took her about a month but after that first week I had no more problems and she quickly got all the stickers and the scooter. Does that make sense? I hope it helps in some way.

It makes me feel a bit better that i'm not alone in this. Teachers make me feel like i am sometimes. I have tried the sticker chart thing and it worked, but then as soon as i stopped it he started wetting again:mad:
    Nothing to declare ;)

SPENDAHOLICS and i've missed in - what channel is it on?

I know Lil_me - i'm a big cheater. I do apologise for it but sometimes I know i've got no time the next day so I have to get ahead or I stress. Who thought I'D ever stress about not doing housework. It's a miracle!

Dusty - it's funny to hear you say i'm doing well. If you'd seen me rushing off to town to pick up DHs birthday present and arriving back for pick up as the doors opened you wouldn't say I was doing well! Stress head springs to mind but it's all done now and I can relax. My problem is I have to have my evenings off...must be my age, lol.

Two children currently getting ready for bed. I'm giving them two more minutes and then i'm stamping upstairs and being grumpy mum.

newmrslockwood, maybe you have your answer, starting the charts again, my boys have had them for years and we just adapt to fit what the issues are rather than letting them go, and the rewards, DSs prefer money to stickers now they are older, saying that the stickers can get a little expensive.

Right DP is back and putting the kids to bed, maybe he noticed my stroppy stomp :rotfl: I best go and make dinner.
One day I might be more organised...........
