juice, squash, jam/jelly, pie filling, cakes/muffins etc, compote, ice cream/ice lollies or freeze them whole till you decide later. Boiled sweets/candy

Wine? Beer? Gin? Sorry don't know as I have an allergy to alcohol so can't recommend but found this site that might help http://www.cottagesmallholder.com/category/drinks/liqueurs/

Thank you very much for the link, what a fab website!!! I love it, lots of great ideas!

Raspberry vodka. Split a pound of fruit, a pound of sugar and a bottle of vodka between 2 bottles and shake regularly. Leave for at least 6 months but longer is even better if you can resist!

Ok, so I used about 1.5 kg of raspberries today and made a lovely jam which we can enjoy in winter. Yum!
There are still a lot of not quite ripe enough raspberries left, so when they are ready guess what my OH will be making! Thank you very much for the recipe!

I bought a punnet of rasberries from Lidl on Thursday, took them to work to eat on Friday and returned with them uneaten :o
They are now a soggy mess.
Any ideas what to make with them? I can't eat smoothies as orange juice gives me hives - suggestions pretty please

    Many thanks in advance

I'd use them in this ...

    ICE CREAM

    Makes approx. 750ml

    INGREDIENTS

    400g tin of condensed milk
    300ml carton of double cream

    METHOD

Put the ingredients into a bowl. Whip until it resembles clotted cream,

Gently stir in any flavouring (see below).

Put the contents into a shallow dish.

Put the dish in the freezer.

Every hour or so, move the frozen bits from the edge of the dish into the middle. After about 4 hours, it should all be frozen.

    ADDITIONS & ALTERATIONS

For coconut ice cream, substitute a 400ml tin of coconut milk for the double cream. Mix thoroughly.

For Malteser ice cream, add a small bag of Maltesers. Put it in the freezer until they are frozen (and brittle). Make a small hole in the bag. With a rolling pin or any other blunt object, hit the bag until the Maltesers are completely broken up. Stir in the Malteser bits before freezing or scatter them over the top after serving.

For peanut ice cream, add half a jar of crunchy peanut butter. For “Snickers” ice cream, top with caramel and chocolate ice cream sauces.

For raspberry or strawberry ice cream, add a punnet of raspberries or strawberries. Liquidise most, chop some. For raspberry ripple, don’t stir them in completely.

here's a link to our raspberries thread . You could make a smoothie with milk and banana added, there doesn't have to be orange juice added? Here's our smoothie thread

What about eton mess or just mix them with some yoghurt and eat them?

Ill merge this with the first link later
