Just Bought New Car, Now Seen It Cheaper

I just put down a small deposit on a new car this afternoon. However, doing a little search on it when I came home I see that another local dealer has the same car for £1200 cheaper albiet without A/C. As I have not signed anything as yet, only paid my deposit, can I cancel that and order from the other dealer. I realise that I will probably lose my deposit but can maybe use the trade in value as a bargaining toy.

You'd probably loose tour deposit.
But as AC is near enough standard, you will find that that car will be worth less when it comes to selling.
So you wont be saving much anyway...
Stick with the one with AC...0 -
if i was you i would buy the one with the ac
but use it against the dealer who's selling the one with the ac
say look i've seen this similar car for £1200 left (don't mention that it hasn't got a/c) and they might be able to lower the price for you
its worth trying0 -
You can see why its cheaper - 'cos non-air con don't sell!!
& you won't sell it too easy, when you want to swap it in again!!

Once you have bought something, you must stop looking....you will always find it cheaper or better once you have dealt.0

yes
and air con is about £12-1500 anyway i was told:DHonesty is the best policy doesn't matter which web site
you are on!
if i had known then what i know now!
a bargain is only a bargain if you really need it!0 -
Air/con uses more fuel and also with a smaller engine size reduces the power.
It also needs to be serviced at least every two years adding £75 per year to the service bill.0 -

Also the fuel difference with Aircon is negligible as is the power.
I wouldn't buy a Car without AirCon now as it is so easy to come by and as a result many others wouldn't either. Very few new cars now are sold without Aircon.0 -
Do you remember those days when you discovered someones Dad had bought a car with aircon, it was seen as the height of extravegance and luxury!!0
