  • Just about the driving; a mate of mine was banned for a few years for driving, drunk, for about 200m to pick up smokes from a pub. Idiot. But yes; if you take the risk they'll get ya.
Any chance of them either walking or sharing a lift there??

I hope you left them on your PC as well as - it's not a backup unless you have 2 copies.

Mind you, didn't think girls had dongles... ;)

no i didnt  ah well i am sure it will be fine. All the pics have either been printed or are saved on the dongle/memory stick as well as the cds, well the ones i wanna keep. But it makes me laugh because we do all this to back up your pc however if there were a fire in your houser your pc would burn, so would the memory sticks and th cds you backed the said computer onto ~ it baffles me. But i suppose if my pc crashes i still have the doc/pic/whatever.

Strictly speaking, it's a bit of hardware you put into a computer for copy protection/antipiracy purposes.

In this context it's a USB memory stick.

Well now you're reliant on your CDs always working and never getting scratched.

If you use Winzip or similar to zip them up into CD sized zip files, then save them with a password, then you can take these extra CDs to work and keep them there. So if your house does burn down, these extra ones will be fine.

But how fireproof is it? "Fireproof" normally refers to paper not spontaneously bursting into flame. Plastic melts at lot lower temperatures.

It might be "Data protecting fireproof" but you'd have to check.
