i'm soooo peed off today - work still havnt bothered paying my expenses from mid december!! and now i'd heard our pay, due for monday, may not even be done on time!!
i've been living in my over draft for the last few weeks and have about £8 left of it
i'm supposed to be going to a concert sunday which is already paid for but obviously i'll need petrol to get there and back and i figured as i should have had my expenses before xmas i would be ok as i could have kept a tenner aside for this!
that and my mate who owe's me for the ticket hasnt bothered to go the bank to pay in the money she owes (she gave me half of it and said she would pay the rest when she got her uni loan but has not bothered for the last three weeks - she's in blackpool, like 2 hours away so its not like i can pick it up from her either)
i'm just so angry at everyone just screwing me over at the moment that its no wonder i cant clear my bloody debts.
and to add salt to wound, i'm down nearly £300 cos we dont get paid for days off so the xmas eve/day/boxing day and new years days we had off are just lost wages :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
it's my b'day next week and i've had to ask for the money off everyone just so i can afford to live this month
i've had to use all my change that i'd been trying to save up (for either NYC savings or debt payments) but i've had to cash it all to put petrol in the car and to be able to not have to fall back on my credit cards!
sorry for the rant, i had to get it off my chest.0 -

I'm back. Phew. My Honda didn't morph into a Robin Reliant!!!!
Started up the car and started to reverse off the drive and the 'metallic' noise started immediately. I said !!!!, !!!! and !!!! (but possibly not in that order) and put it into Drive to go backup the driveway (it's an automatic) but immediately changed my mind, put it back into reverse and decided to at least nurse it off the drive onto the road so there was a better view of it (narrow driveway).
The noise stopped as I started to move again!! Off the driveway, 3 point turn, no noise. Decided to drive it slowly down my road (quiet one so no problem doing 15 mph!!), no noise. Down to see dog and back again. Quiet as a mouse. So it has stopped again.
I wonder if it is something 'gear' related. Each time it has started (other than this morning) I've already been driving, each time about 20mph so probably 2nd gear. I wonder if something is 'sticking' in the gears somewhere??? Dunno.....lifted up the bonnet when I got back to see if there were any obvious bits of metal looking knackered, but it all looked ok - not that I'd know anyway what I was looking for!
Still think I'll get OH to jack it up and have a look tomorrow.

Hi Immoral Angel - here's a list of people that can countersign passports so that could help? I got asked to do my first one last year and felt like a proper grown up!

yeslek - That's so frustrating. Can't they give you a cheque for part of your wages to tide you over? I'm pretty sure they aren't allowed to just not pay you.No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Urm, hi everyone - I'm new but I've been lurking for a little while.
I've got just shy of £2,000 cc debt plus my mortgage and student loans (I don't earn enough to have to pay them back yet) and I'll be doing my full SOA later on today or over the weekend but I just wanted to pop on and say hi for now
.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and maybe joining in some challenges so I can get my numbers down a bit quicker!LBM 21/11/07 Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts. Nerd Number 872 DFD ~07/2009 Stats at payday feb08: overdraft ; Gone CC1: £1,519.63 CC2: £402.15
