Never thought of that skint!!
Have to admit I don't like Irn Bru, but I do have some cheap cider that is a similar colour, so I could cheat
Haggis tastes like lamb mince, with herbs. It's nice - honest!
Right.........I'm off out in my car..........fingers crossed the noise doesn't start again or the wheel falls off or something just as dramatic!

Mornin all
Keren - have a safe journey (I'm worrying already about you in a car with brakes that need looking at)!
Pap - hope you feel much better soon. How nice to to have to work on Mondays. Has Tuesday become the worst day of the week for you?
Amy - enjoy the course - and well done on such a spectacular amount of money you've raised. I must go through my books and things and start listing on ebay and amazon!
IA - i got weighed this morning and haven't lost an ounce but Sunday is my weigh day so I'll try again then. I'm checking my inches progress once a month (but my clothes are certainly a lot more comfortable to wear at the moment). Glad the money's cleared - go pay the egg card off then we can all celebrate that you have gotten rid of it!!!
MrsS - You have my sympathies. Our boiler broke a couple of years ago and I remember the palaver we had trying to get a bath (every pot and pan filled with water we were trying to boil. We broke three kettles with the constant boiling of water). Fingers crossed the plumber comes and fixes it!
ok - going to go do some work now. Hopefully will be around later and get some work done!

Hi all, still feel murky.
:grouphug:OH is going to jack the car up and have a look at the brakes but not until tomorrow, so I'll have to take it out today and keep everything crossed.
It'll be fine if it's the brakes. If you've got fancy alloys, run your finger across your disk to check you're not scoring it. But do that *before* you take it out. I did't have to do this with mine because when I first started they didn't make you, but what about a childminder friend? Nursery owner from a nursery you used to work at? I think they just want a responsible person. Does it give you a list inside of the kind of people who should do it? I have always got my kids old nursery manager to do our passports and things and have never had problems.Olympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

Health visitor?
Ex-boss / ex-college tutor?
Could you take it along to your local tech/HE college that operates access to learning schemes? Is there an OU office nearby where their staff could see it?
Basically a professional - someone who could get in trouble for lying and saying they'd seen the license when they hadn't.

Been busy so far, just having a cuppa! Ben in DS's room (18 &16) and cleaned mildrew from ceiling, sorted their stuff out and hoovered in there. DS (18) had so much c**p and paper hanging around, we have shredded loads and half filled a black bag. Messy s*d! They are chalk and cheese....one half the room tidy the other like a bombsite.
No plans to go out other than collect my DD later from school. So hopefully another no spend day
