I used KWIK FIT for a service and they were great and would go again. I saved £200 on the dealer price and local garages and I saved a further 10% because I took out my car insurance through kwik-fit last year so I save 10% every time I use them!

Which branch of Kwik Fit do you work for? ;)

Imagine if a Kwik Fit employee is reading this thread right now. he he!!:D

Yeah....you can almost hear them nodding in agreement.....:rotfl:
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

Just got a quote from the Ford specialist garage. £120 all in for a full service. £125 cheaper than the main dealers.

Booking it in next week :)

Don't worry about residual values and getting 'Ford" stamps, your car is 5 years old and it's going to get older while you still have it, any percieved increase in value with all "ford" logos in your service book is going to be much less than the extra cost of paying for those 'ford' stamps.

  • Also found Kwik Fit to be rubbish & i only had new tyres fitted. They knackered the tracking & wheel balance. Wouldn't touch them with a bargepole again.

Just wanted to double check something without creating a new thread. When do you reckon I should change my tyres...they currently have 5mm tread all round?

they will be illegal at 1.6 mm,personally i would change them at this if they were a good brand like michelin,if they were a budget tyre i would change at about 2 mm.

Don't use kwik fit, the fitted the wrong tyres to my car and then claimed the other 3 were the wrong ones.

would stick to a good local garrage, we service all our co vans and cars this route even the ones under 3 years old
