    Very nice man.

Said he will credit the £10 back to my card.

Phew. I can put my shopping away now. :D
    Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £60
  • I used a £9 voucher when shopping on friday and it was accepted. When my shopping was received it was not there and despite me ringing tesco and having an arguement with one of their supervisors she refused to refund me. I tried to make the point that it was dishonest to accept the voucher when my order was accepted but not to honour it at the point of sale, as they've sucked you in and lets face it you need your shopping when it comes, despite the option of returning it and they know this. I think they must have got wise to us sharing codes and are tightening up on it.
I've made a formal complaint and asked for written feedback from them about it. I won't hold my breath though!.

    What does everyone else think?
  • I used a £6 code on saturday and that didn't come up on the order form, so i rang up and spoke to a gentleman who kindly refunded me without any questions asked when i said i would not have placed the order if i would have known this was the case.

Im so not impressed with Tesco...... Im still awaiting a response from the email he insisted I sent to request a refund for my £12.

How come some customer services advisors have given a refund straightaway and yet the one I spoke to was no help at all!?

Maybe its because I have complained a few times before..... not about this though!
  • I have been using codes from here for ages from various sources. But yesterday one of the £13 off codes was NOT accepted. It's never happened before and I must say I am really annoyed. I spent £108 on Groceries. I can't really take the chance that it will happen again, it's a lot of money. I bought more than I would have done normally. I won't be ringing Tesco, I am too chicken, but I'll email them.

If it comes to nothing then I'll make the hike to another supermarket, I'll be gutted though.

Although I have been to Legoland, Eden Project, had a new Bunk Bed, Tumble Dryer and paid for my August holiday with thanks to Tesco. I truly believe they are the spawn of satan-I'll be glad that I never have to deal with them again.:rotfl:
    Saving £'s :money: but losing lbs [strike]11st 6lb[/strike] 9st [strike]13 [/strike][strike]12[/strike] [strike]11[/strike]8.5 lb:j
  • I spent over £100 online on Saturday for delivery Sunday and used a £13 off voucher code but when the shopping was delivered they had refused the voucher. I phoned them up and they were very unhelpful telling me that unless I have the paper copy of the voucher and am willing to send it to them there is nothing they will do. They also were unwilling to return and collect the whole delivery and told me I could not return it to my local Tesco for a refund. To add insult to injury I had 3 missing items, 1 damaged and 1 incorrect.

    Hi,
I'm new to this and could really do with some advice as my friend uses your codes all the time...but I can't seem to get them to work!

Is there a special format or something? I've complete my online shopping as normal and booked my delivery slot, but it's saying that all the codes that I have imputted are incorrect and showing up as an error.

Should I use caps? Not use caps? Why is it not working for me?

Could someone please please help me?

    Thanks so much

    Kate
  • I too used a £13 off voucher and the 'checkout' said that it had been accepted. When my groceries were delivered there was a note on it to say that they were unable to use the voucher. I had spent over £90! I phoned Customer Services and spoke to a really unhelpful man who said that any codes that were not sent out by Tesco were fraudulent and that they are trying to put a stop to all the codes that people are using from websites like Martins Moey tips, Hot deals etc. I was so angry as I have always used codes from these sites and they have always worked. The Tesco website should not be accepting 'fraudulent codes'. I was also annoyed that they had these half price offers on grapes, kiwi fruits, dishwasher tablets but because the delivery date was after the offer date I could not partake in the offer even though I was buying them on line within the offer date. I will not shop at Tesco anymore and will try Asda as they seem to be much cheaper.

hi kate, when i type in the codes i always use caps, and always put a - after the two x's (ie XX-????) hope this helps you

wins so far:- absolutely nothing, not even an arguement:mad:
  • Not all of them work - it's trial and error. i use these codes every week and have always found one that works but I might have to try half a dozen before hitting lucky. Keep trying!

It all works out good in the end.
If it's not good, it's not the end!
