    Hi

First of all it wouldn't accept my card numbers as correct, 6 times I entered the correct number. Then it cleared my basket and I can't retrieve it!

    I have wasted 2 hours.

Technical support were not helpful. Said it must be me.

I use tesco online weekly and never had any problems.

    I could scream![/quote

Had the same problem the only answer was for them to close my original account & start again!
  • I havn't had a code thats worked since before xmas, I can't be bothered going through all the codes anymore nothing is accepted, are Tesco getting meaner or is it just that time of the year. I wouldn't mind just covereing the delivery charge which is now obscene £6.75 on saturdays. I will be looking elsewhere if things don't change soon.

  • I had to post to air my frustration - I shop with tesco all the time and been doing it online for about 6 months - these codes had made a world of difference on our tight budget - but now can't find one single code that works!!!! SO ANNOYED. sorry rant over. I just hate how alls costs are going up and my and hubbies wages are so lagging behind and this one little thing that would normally only cover the delivery cost has gone. tight fisted tesco. rant really over now!

Snap! I have been a loyal Tesco customer for the last few years but now I'm starting the 'My Love Affair With Tesco Is Officially Over' club. I'm shopping elsewhere from now on and swapping my Tesco credit card for a Capital One Cashback card. Can't help but feel that Tesco aren't doing themselves any favours.....
  • Problems with Tesco

Back in Aug 07 we had a till spit voucher which said scan this coupon to receive a Clubcard Application pack & Collect 1000 Clubcard Points. We scanned it on 6 Aug 07 but no pack ever appeared so I chased it . Anyway card received but no 1000 points in the Sep mailer. Phoned Tesco finance who said they can take up to 2 months to come through.

Sent letter of complaint in Nov to Customer Services took nearly a month to reply- as in my eyes this is breach of contract. Whilst they symapthised they told me I had to ring Personal Finance as they are unable to put the points on. Phoned yesterday and after having been identified I explained I was missing 1000 points so without saying anything put me back to Clubcard. By this stage I was fuming.

Not sure if I am just getting the run around but they are now telling me that they can only check as far back as Oct.

Am now awaiting a call back from the Customer Services Officer in Dundee who has not resolved my original November complaint.

I feel this is a total rip off I must have wasted about £10 in phone calls chasing these points and I am just pushed from pillar to post.

Anyone else out there had similar problem and managed to solve it.

  • Hello everyone. I am sure this question has been asked a million times before, but I am getting really frustrated that I don't have as many clubcard points as some of you. I know it helps when you buy products that have extra points, but surely you can't get that many points from doing that. I saw someones signature on this site and it said that they had been collecting points since Dec 07 and already had nearly 5000 points. I spent a lot of money in tesco, but still only had 900 odd points. Can someone please explain where i am going wrong. I must be missing something, but cannot think what it might be! Any help at all is HUGELY appreciated. Thanks
If dogs don't go to heaven, then I want to go where they go. :A

Well, I've now done my first online shop with Asda in over 3 years, and whilst I hate the site, Tesco site is far better and more user friendly, I will continue to use Asda/whoever, for as long as there are no Tesco codes and I can get money off/free del codes elsewhere. Tis a bit of a faff, but  their loss!
If you have good thoughts, they'll shine out of your face like sunbeams & you'll always look lovely.

Well I'm sure some bod at Tesco is paid to monitor these sites, so if we all boycotted home delivery tesco shopping, they'd soon see sense!

Again I only shop at Tesco because of the vouchers. Asda is cheaper and a lot nearer (and easier) to get to.

As somebody has said earlier perhaps it is just after January, it all goes a bit quiet (as most of us are all short of cash after Christmas) - maybe they are taking stock and planning.

I also wish I cottoned on to this deal earlier and got a free holiday out of it, like some of you have already!

It could well also be because ALOT of people have cottoned on to this and where they turned a blind eye before with people sharing codes, they are not being so friendly now.
