Inverters start up slowly etc so its not an issue really they slowly start and slowly wind back down again so I dont think it puts unnesasary wear on the system unlike fixed speed systems? Is yours an inverter compressor?
What temperature do you have set in the rooms during the day time?If you found my post helpful, please remember to press the THANKS button! --->0 -
Oh yeah, any of the rooms can be lifted to 23/24 for the women but 22/23 is about average for Living room, bedrooms are about 20, bathroom 23/24, UFH does take a while to get there, so its always better to keep it on 24/7 with night setback stats.
yes its an inverter with a seven stage compressor. There are three types of people in this world...those that can count ...and those that can't!

When you say 7 stage compressor what do you mean by this?
I keep my lounge at 22/23, my bedroom is kept at 18/19C and tennants room is kept at about 21C night set backs are 18C throughout. If you found my post helpful, please remember to press the THANKS button! --->0 -
the unit is the Mitsubishi PUHZ-W85VHA BS 8.5kW Ecodan
the seven stage compressor is just a fancy way of putting inverter but rather than nothing to full power like standard inverters, this I believe is at stage 1 at 50% duty with the other stages at 55%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, 100% (I think, Something like this).

An inverter is just that multiple stages of power, there are no standard inverters. You are reffering to fixed speed compressors that are either on (100%) output or off.
Sounds fancy though does 7 stage inverter! If you found my post helpful, please remember to press the THANKS button! --->0 -
