Totally agree with Shawz. I was also a member of the audience of It Pays to Watch on Wednesday 23 January 2008.
I took a day’s holiday to travel into London and to the studio, mainly to see how a TV programme is recorded, but also to be a member of the audience. I travelled to London with a friend of mine who’d arranged the tickets. I was not aware of the subject of the show, until I entered the studio. I certainly wasn’t specially selected to attend the show.
I am fortunate to having never been in debt, but I have used information gained from this forum and Martin’s books to save money. I use a credit card, but I pay it off in full every month so I use a cash-back card. I have no need to be a Credit Card Tart. I feel that there should have been a fourth group fro people who paid off the card in full each month.0 -

I was on the show as well and felt the same - I dont think the groups were explained enough just before Martin asked us to put our hands up. We didnt know what to expect and people got in the wrong groups but being on a TV programme with lots of people trying to sort things out and people talking into peoples ears it was not easy to talk to someone to say something!
Still really enjoyed it but I wish we knew buy not putting your hand up early you were seen to be in bigger debt to the outside world! When only 2 is in the group its not easy to get out of the situation!0
