Malta! four of us went aged 17 (5 years ok) and it was great. hot, cheap, self catering appartment and amazing night life without being Ibiza or somewhere. Clubs open till about 6am, masses of dancing and drinking..but Malta is a lot more civilised that most places! its not the traditional rave location, but loads of fun none the less. My vote is Malta.

I have to agree with Benidorm, cheap cheerful something 4 every one, Thomson /first choice are doing some great deals,

Review accommodation though, try not to be living on the square, no sleep at all.

I wouldnt worry too much. As long as she comes back safe it doesnt really matter what she gets up to over there does it?

We all went on these type of holidays and are still here to tell the tales. Its part of growing up and you just have to trust em. Lectures on sticking together (Which is easier when there are 9 of them), letting each other know where they are going (If going off anywhere) and talks on condoms and drink spiking and they will be ok. (They might not be that type of girl but Sun and lots of drink can make people do the strangest of things)

I went on holiday with friends when I was seventeen, and while we met plenty of lads, we certainly were not exchanging bodily fluids with any of them!

Now why am I not surprised ;)
Sorry, couldn't help myself. Only kidding:o
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

I'd follow the other recommendations on talking to them about how to avoid getting their drinks spiked. It's very easy for it to happen, even with sensible girls - I know people who it's happened to, and they're not the sort to leave drinks unattended, etc, so they really have to be up on that.

And yeah, condoms - they might not be out looking for a guy to have some fun with, but at their age (says a 22 year old. lol) there's a possibility it could happened, so better safe than sorry! Others are right - people are much more relaxed when on holiday and do stuff they would never dream of doing back home!

As for English girls having a reputation, it depends which country you're looking at...in the USA (I was told this by a cabbie in Santa Barbara) it's the American girls who have a bad reputation - the English girls are much better thought of as they don't "put out" as easily. :)

I thought the Greek (Rhodes) police were really cracking down on 'Brits behaving badly' in Falaraki - apparently the locals and the Mayor were really unhappy at the reputation the resort had - but I thought this started last year?? Anyone got more info
;) If you think you are too small to make a difference, try getting in bed with a mosquito!
  • The girls in question have probably gone on their holiday by now, as the original post was Jan 2008.
Why are people bothering to post replies?

Plenty of nicer resorts on Corfu,eg Kassiopi,Roda Beach,Gouvia etc than Chavos.
Chavos is a shithole, that's why its right down the south of the island out the way!

gotta agree with this, I was there 10 years ago andf OMG its a s-hole.

When you are 20 though enjoying getting out of your face on bright blue cocktails, throwing up in the street :rotfl:, and eating chips & gravy for breakfast, suppose it does what is says on the tin. (Im sorry to the OP, but Im told my mum I just wanted a funsun holiday with the girls too, that did involve rather a lot of time spent with the lads ;)- its not the forign lads you want to worry about its the English ones! :D)

The most you can do is to maqke sure they aere safe, know how to call home and are properly insured.
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
