If it doesn't track I won't be making an initial deposit. After 14 days the application lapses. I'll the reapply for a new account see if that fares any better

Ok just applied. Was a bit worried looking at the form layout though. For a moment I thought they were going to do a credit check. A credit check for a savings account. Hope it doesn't come to that.

I've registered my HSBC account but from my personal banking page I can't figure out how to pay money into it (from my Nationwide current account).
Can anyone help?

Dopple,

Log in to your HSBC personal banking page, and make a note of your saving account's account number (xxxxxxxx) and sort code (xx-xx-xx). Then log in to Nationwide's online banking, and set up a transfer using those account details. You can save the transfer details so you don't have to enter them again.

I applied through quidco on 27th Jan which was a Sunday and my min £1 deposit went into the account on 1st Feb, last friday. I can see the deposit went in through my Halifax account even though I can't view it in the HSBC one yet because I haven't set up the online banking security details with HSBC by phone till it's tracked. I didn't want to put more than the £1 in till I know everythings gone through ok. I was just hoping once that has gone in it will finalize the transaction and show as tracked but nothing so far, today is 8 days
