Have a look what interest you are paying on the £4500 at 19.9% each month then do the calculation you described above for this and see if it matches your monthly interest then you will know if you are doing it correctly...does that make sense?0

Just worked out the interest you would save by transfering is about £408 I think, then you need to know the cost of your fee and knock that off. So probably would be saving about £320 by doing the transfer.
I worked it out by using this site below, its worth looking at as a motivator of what the interest is costing you

Heya guys!
Thanks for that! Have just been reading the letter again and it seems the fee is 5% not 2.5%...dunno where I got 2.5% fromThey are a blimin' nightmare! That is an awfully high BT fee
Tempted to tell them to stick it up their backside! I was thinking about phoning them, telling them I wish to cancel the card and that I was planning the BT but that fee is rubbish and see what they say? They snet my boyf the same letter as he has a card, but with a 2.5% fee and until October! Cheeky beggers...almost as if they don't want my debt!!! :rotfl: Can't think why! Maybe they know how very determined I am and it will be gone far too quickly for their liking!
Anyhoooos, 5 items on the ol' fleabay and 1 has a £5 bid on it already so that is all good. Watchers on 3 out of 5 too. Gonna try getting some more on their later today. Might try for another 5 items...
Hope everyone is well. It is my last day off as Emily has a TTD today so no school. Was hard getting up today but will be even harder tomorrow when life returns to normalso need to get organised! I am on a training course for 3 days in town, so won't be able to cycle to work and will need to get a train or bus! Deffo not driving in as will be completelt insane!

Hi Donner
Yeah give them a ring see if there is anything you can do about the 5% and also ask if they can increase the limit. Worth a try?
Enjoy the ready brek. I'm back at work for first time today boo hiss!!!! Shouldn't be on here either, naughty!!

Hiya Sea and all!
I might have to joing the NSD challenge thingy...maybe next month!
Well survived day one of my course! Got back home and popped out for a quick run. Done 3 miles and it was FREEZING! I was ummming and arring about doing 4 but I was mega silly and down a huge glass of orange squash and then went out for the run and it was all swooshing about so felt a bit sicky! Vey pleased that I managed 3 miles though as it took an awful lot to force myself out of the door after walking back from the train station first!
Am off to have a shower and then get on with tea! Hope everyone is well. Was chuffed at getting free lunch today and will be doing so for the Wednesday and Thursday of this course and then 4 days next week to on the next course! They will all hopefully be NSDs too as am stuck out in the middle of nowhere without anywhere to spend my cash! Yay! xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0
