Mikey the micra~Just love it!!
Have decided that I might get some little stickers to put on him as saw a car the other day with stars on and it looked funky as! Gonna totally pimp him out and make him look nice and girly, even though he is a boy car!

Well sooo glad tomorrow is Friday! Have been quite good with the foodies bill this week so hope to try and pay a bit off the Virgin card at the weekend then the following weekend it is payday! Yay! Not looking forward to huge mobile bill coming out but one off I suppose! That will teach me!
I am on call on Saturday as managed to bag a days overtime so that is all good! We don't get that opportunity very often so jumped at it when I found out I could do it!:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -

Shopping bill is a right mare isn't it! I want to be able to eat as healthly as I can but cheap too and try to make as much stuff from scratch as possible...it's hard! Now I have the car I really need to get to the once a week shop so that will halp keep me away from the shops after work and hopefully spend less! I am gonna check out that thread I think...imagine it must be on the OS board...off to see!:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
Well have just paid another £100 off of the Virgin card! Fingers crossed that should be gone soon! I cannot wait to get started on attacking those dam HSBC cards as interest is soooo high on them, but no way near as high as dam Virgin's 34.9%! Just 19 months away will be the final payment on my Cahoot loan too...which means just 19 paydays away! Just got to keep thinking positive and look to the future!
I still have a few cards which I have now cleared e.g. Barclaycard and Tesco and then Virgin will be zapped too so must make sure that I cancel them as they are of no use to me now! Deffo gonna get rid of the Barclay one but thought that I could try and use the Tesco one for Clubcard points when I shop in Tesco as think you get double points or something? Need to check that out but would have to make sure that I pay it off in full each month!
Once Virgin is done I am getting straight onto the snowball calculator and see exactly when this will done!:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -

Hi Donna, yes it's on the OS board, I went in through a link at the beginning of september's grocery challenge.
Well done on the extra towards the virgin card, I've got to wait till pay day now before I can pay anything else off and it's driving me mad!:DMortgage OP 2025 £7050/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

I sooooo know what you mean! I hate it, only getting paid once a month and having to wait till then to pay more off...and then having another month to wait till the next go! Have been ok this month so glad I have been able to pay it a bit off here and there as makes me feel sooo much better and more positive about it! I REALLY need to get somne stuff on ebay as that is a good way to get some extra £££ during the month!:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
Hello everyone,
Hope we are all ok! Well it is payday tomorrow...is meant to be on Saturday but the money will go in tomorrow but I have the day off of work so won't see my wage slip until Monday so will have to wait until then to pay anything off from my overtime money.
I should however have £400 to pay off of that dam Virgin card and after working out the overtime, hopefully will have enough to use with the rest of my months card money to pay the thing off completely! Then I can get stuck in to those HUGE hsbc ones! Can't wait to see those come down!:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
Woop woop! £400 off of the Virgin card leaving £383.42...but then they are gonna add the interest onto the next bill, and it will be the whacking 34.9% interest too! Off to work out how long this will take to get rid off as have checked my wages and worked it out to be a rough estimate of overtime and providing it is all present and correct, will have the overtime to pay off the card on Monday too...looking good!:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0
