    Afternoon all!
Done a little adding up this morning and have realised that I have missed a payment to Emily's birthday and xmas money jar! So need to keep that money back from the childcare next week and use that to pay the money jar! Drat! Oh well! Next year I am gonna create a bigger fund jar to cover the whole of xmas and close peeps birthdays and special days as have quite a few birthdays coming up soon.
I soooo don't want to be at work today! I wanna be at home in bed having a snooze! I am off out for a lunchtime run at 1pm so maybe that will wake me up a bit?!?!

Howdy doody everyone! Hope everyone is having a nice weekend! Have just paid off a little bit towards the Tesco card, nice to see it coming down. Can't wait to get it out of the way and hope to have that done before September! Roll on payday at the end of the week...yay! Another month out of the way!
Have been mooching around this weekend and have been getting bored! Next weekend I think I will pop down and see my dad and bro if the weather is nice...I went out for a run this morning and that went very well apart from being so windy! If only the wind was blowing me along rather than blowing in my face! Anyway!
I am off to visit Emily's new school on Thursday! She went up for a tour last week and loved it even though she found it a little unnerving with sooooo many kids! She is off for the whole day on 1st July so that will be nice for her! The school uniform list is a right joke, so many items all with the school logo on...I hope she stops growing soon or at least calms down with the growth spurt! As she needs to top end of ths scale clotheswise which are the most expensive of course! The rest will come from ebay...gotta be done.
Right I am off to get myself a nice cup of tea! Take care xxx

Dont go mad buying stuff for Emily until you've spoken to peeps who have kids who go there & can tell you whats the kids actually wear as opposed to what the list says if you know what I mean.

Thanks Beanielou! Will do! I will hopefully see some at the Parents Evening and will ask them as would be nowt worse than getting the whole list only to find out that they hardly wear any of the stuff! She is gonna need stuff like new coat, bag etc so might start looking on ebay now and get her somethings she can grow into! I doubt the big winter coats etc will be selling for too much at the mo being that it is meant to be summer!

    Hello everyone,
Just a quick note before I shoot off to bed as I am bushed! I have had several NSD's as have not left the house since last week! Basically on Friday afternoon, I was told that work had a voucher for an exam that my colleague was meant to take but hasn't used up and that I had to go and sit the exam in their place so someone got some use out of it! Mmmmm, I am not really ready as a trainee but be sitting my exam and did the training course that went with it a long time ago and of course have not put any of it into practice! I managed to wangle Monday / Tuesday off work to revise and will sit the test tomorrow in Cardiff! If by some sort of miracle (this is a hard core exam :( ) I manage to pass, I will be half way to being a certified Systems Administrator which when complete, will help me find a better paid job! I have asked work to pay for part 2 if I pass and they have agreed! Yay! All I can do is give it my best shot, but this exam will be very, very tough!
Emily was being a little madam tonight! She got home a little later than planned and then knocked my dinner all over the floor...I was not amused! Was a chilli sauce dish too which made a right mess! I think what made it worse was she never said sorry and that made me very upset...Grrrrr! Kids!
Anyhoooos, I really better get off to bed now as have an early start! Take care all and will be back tomorrow with an update! xxx

    Hello everyone!
    Hope you are all ok!
Well, needless to say I failed my exam....soooooo badly as well! :o I actually laughed when I saw my score as it was awful! Ho hum! I tried my best but it was sooooo much harder than I had expected (and I knew it would be tough) and the entire exam was on systems I don't actually work with which was making it even worse! Anyway, all done with now and the lady at the exam said that people usually have several months notice before booking a test, not 2 days!
I have spent the evening wrestling with my bike trying to change the tyres...I have never done this before and after an hour of trying to get the actual tyre off and cutting my hand, I have decided to give up! Really gutted as want to be out on my bike but that will have to wait a few weeks until my boyf comes back from his hols and then he can do it for me! :D
Tomorrow evening I am off to see Emily's new Secondary School which will be exciting...I hope I don't get too upset at the thought of my baby off to big school! Need to control myself!
Payday Friday...yay! Hopefully have a little more to pay towards the Tesco card tomorrow providing nothing else comes out of my account. I have been looking at the Snowball calculator, only put rough figures in but looks like I will be near enough debt free in 2 years time, providing that we live like crap for the next 2 years! That would be awesome but very hard but has given me a new lease of motivation! I can't imagine what being debt free would be like? I have had debts for so many years now and the only time I didn't have any, I was at College as was very skint so would be so good to have a proper wage and no debt! Going to try and do a proper meal plan for next month to keep the costs down if I can... I reckon that Snowballing could become very addictive...still in a state of shock...a few years down the line and this could all be over and me and Emily could start saving for a new place to live, a proper home! Just means would be very tought for the next few years, but then it is tough now so no different really? Sorry i am rambling again!!! xxx
