Donner I've just had a quick look at the Bank Charges thread (it has its own main thread if you've not noticed, I hadn't) and it makes no difference that your account is closed you just follow Martins steps as normal for the claim.
Also apart form the recent credit card charges have you had them in the past? Maybe you could look into claiming CC charges too?
I know you've got a lot to do already but this could end up a good debt busting project if they made alot of charges.
Ditto all of the above. I wouldn't post on there though as some of the answers are a bit holier than thou jobby. makes you wonder why they bother.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Oh really, joy  well maybe just get all the info you need Donner and also contact Martin as there is no point you being a case study if he doesn't help and if he can't show your progress on these types of things on your next programme appearance. Mither him

Yeah i know. There are some good folk on there and some of the...well what do you expect brigade...take it on the chin, blah blah blah. As i said, if they are so clued up why are they on the boards in the first place
Just to add have had a quick look on there and there seems to be some similar stuff to yours Donna. The advice isn't as bad either. I must have looked on a bad day last time.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

What a day! Would have been on here earlier but ended up having a full blown row with my DD, started off as something small but then she gave me that 'look' which drrove me mental so I went off on one and we both ended up in tears...and people say that it just gets worse! I wonder sometimes exactly what she thinks of me and why she thinks she can just be a right madam and get away with it...
Anyhoooos, I was sent home from work today as felt really ill, tried to get some sleep but it sounded like the neighbours were having a full on rave so no joy there...then they started with the d-i-y and drilling...grrrrr!
Gutted as had a fab time at Centre Parks and have come home to this! Boyf was exceptionally well behaved and paid for us to all do stuff together! So I didn't have to spend a penny! I had took some of my wages aside for food and sports as you have to pay for everything seperately and as I didn't spend anything, I have opted to pay it straight to my Tesco card taking the balance down to £1090! Would be great if buy the end of the month, I could take it down to under £1000! Was watching the It Pays To Watch show earlier and have been thinking about the bit where Martin said about going down a brand and think I am gonna try that with some foods! I have been cutting back anyway but would love to shave a few more quid here and there! I will be doing the snowball thingy at the weekend and see what the damage is!
I am also gonna be looking into the claiming back charges as mentioned above as believe it is worth a try!
I am feeling sooooo stressed out now after shouting at Emily, need to relax. I have had a hot chocolate and a curly wurly but they have not done the trick. I hate shouting at her, makes me very upset. Kids!:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0

Yeah, that 'look ' & that 'tone'.

I know tell me about it! She just has this 'glare' sometimes like she is looking at me as if I am a piece of carp! Grrrrrrrrrr! And that attitude in her tone of voice, but she has the knack of making me feel very guilty afterwards
I really hope to get Tesco in at under a thousand when I get paid again on the 27th. I always count down to payday...20 days to go! Just so I can hopefully pay a little bit more off. I long for the day when payday actually means that! And then I can actually use the money for nice things, not just paying cards off!
I wonder is the snowball would be a mess if I don't know the exact APR's...I will check on the statements and see if I can see what they all are. But will do that for the weekend as am shattered out now after all that rowing and will be off to bed in a mo. Feeling soooo wound up I can feel a food binge coming on as have some hob nobs and a huge bag of minstrels which are calling my name Must be strong! xxx :j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 Must be strong! xxx :j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0

Don't feel guilty Donner, I mean what would you be teaching her if you let her get away with talking to you/looking at you like that? If she gets away with it with you then imagine how she would treat others in the future.
If you feel your reaction to it was over the top then apologise for that only but making it clear you will ALWAYS react in some way if she continues to disrepct you like that because it is not acceptable.
I'd love to know any parent who has not felt like you have tonight, its one TOUGH job.
Glad BF stuck his hand in his pocket and spoiled you this weekend, well deserved IMO.

Hello everyone! Hope everyone is well! What a gorgeous day today! My boyf left for his mountain biking holiday in Spain yesterday and had got there at it is raining and is meant to rain all week and the weather is lovely here
Had a nice day yesterday and went to see my dad, brother and nephew as my nephew will be 1 years old on Tuesday! Can't believe how quick the year has gone!
I had a few days off work last week as felt horrible but went back on Friday and was glad I did. I think that the horribleness stems from stress...seem to be so worried about money, miss my family loads and Emily was driving me nuts...money worries me most though I hate the fact that I know I owe so much and if I have to buy things or out anything on the card etc but should look at it as though I know that things are improving slowly and at least I am not blowing money on takeaways and clothes etc. I have started keeping a spending diary too which is good. I have decided to try taking Kalms tablet for a while and see if that helps with the stress at all. I have another driving test coming up on the 23rd and read that they can take up to 2 weeks to take effect so have started taking them already. I dunno if they work or if they are just a placebo thing but thought I have nowt to loose by trying. Seeing my dad and bro and nephew etc makes me realise how much I miss them...I would love to live closer, maybe one day when I get rid of this debt, I could move closer...I would love that sooo much. Also one day if I can pass my test and get a car that would help as the trains are always so bad, yesterday the first train didn't arrive, the following one didn't stop  making me late to catch the next connecting train. On the way home it was delayed and meant I missed the connecting one again and then the other train just sat at Temple Meads station for about 20 mins...Grrrrrrr! So a journey which is about 30 mins away by car, ended up taking 2 1/2 hours!
 Oh well!
Emily has been a lot better behaved now which is good! Long may it continue! I have managed to get a few phone numbers for some Girl Guide units so am gonna give them a call next week and see if I can get her going to Guides to give her soemthing to do! She was at Brownies for several years and then her Unit closed due to lack of numbers, so will try the Guides now as she is older! Be nice to have her doing something outside of the house and that doesn't involve the Nintendo Wii!
I feel shattered out already and it is only 10:30! Should have gone out for a run but with feeling so knackered and rubbish, I thought I would leave it till next week! Gonna try doing the garden today and getting this place a bit more tidy!
Hope everyone is out enjoying this sunshine! Better get some washing on too as have loads! Will be back soon, take care all xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0
