Dunno about that spud...I am tearing my hair out with this one! :rotfl: And I deffo have been today, as the first day I walk to work in ages, as soon as I get to sit down, I get a phone call saying their dam boiler has broken so all the kids jave to go home! So I have to walk all the way home and work from home for the whole day! And my gosh, dod she whinge! No Disney channel...no MTV and now no Computer...what was she to do?!?! She tried to entertain herself buy doing a puzzle but the cat climbed into the box and sat on all the pieces and then started to scratch her everytime she tried to get a piece and then he started eating them! Then I thought he wan gonna wee on them as he was making this funny paw movement which he does in his litter tray so the pair of us had to try and sort him out...and the puzzle went away and the whinging came back! Oh well...hope it is fixed by tomorrow!
Have been taking a look at the budget calculator today and it is hard at the mo as my wages are all up and down following a payrise, so I have no idea what I am bringing in each month. I have told the Inland Revenue for the Tax Credits as this will affect what I was on before ans will now mean that I will probably go down to the flat rate of £540 per year but obviously they have paid me more than this already for the year and my payrise has been backdated so I am gonna have to pay a load back! I asked the person on the phone if they would stop my payments now and he said nope in April when I have to complete the claim for the year! I am gonna have to make sure that I don't spend any of the backpay as well as try not to spend any of the Tax Credits till April when hopefully it will all get sorted out. I hate the fact that nowt is finalised as I want to know what the crack is moneywise and what am I bringing in each month etc...this is hard. On the other hand, this is scaring me the fact that I have to see how my money really is. I know I have had my LBM but this whole budget thing is reality looking me in the face.....I know for a fact I have cut back a lot recently so this should help, but it is still scary cause if it is as bad as I think, there is still going to be more going out than coming in....Hmmmmmm I know it has gotta be done sooner rather than later...will have this done soon, even if just estimates wages wise, so that I can see how bad it really is.
Been a bit hacked off ebay wise...grrrr! I have about £43 pounds in paypal and sold something for £16 so was hoping that would send the paypal over the £50 limit to allow me to transfer the money. But looks like they are sending a cheque so the paypal money stays put for longer. I have listed another 2 items laste last night so hopefully if they sell, the person will pay by paypal so I can get my money!
Have sent Virgin an Email regarding my services, I have checked their website and they do a 3 for £30 deal which is phone, internet and mobile which is what I get from them now and pay for them all seperate at £39.50 so why are they not not charging me £30? I duuno! The TV is free now as I have a phoneline with them and it is just the same channels as freeview so this doesn't count...but have told them they are welcome to have the box back! I have asked them to charge me £30 or I will have to look into cancelling the internet and trying to move. Hopefully they will be in touch over the next few days, if not I will call them up.
At least being cooped up in here has meant another NSD! That's something!
I have been feeling a little sick today but that is probably due to looking at the budget calculator and trying to get my head around this mess! I hate not knowing when it comes to the Tax Credits etc but hopefully I won't spend any of the money so when they ask for it back, I can pay it. I already owe them for 2 other overpayments.....grrrrrrr again!
Right I have seriously gotta wash up and put some washing on!
Hope everyone is ok...sorry for the rant/s!!! :rotfl: xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
I have been thining about the whole ebay malarky and think I am gonna look into amazon seller accounts too. This maybe a better option for some of my tat...sorry mean lovely things I am trying to sell!
Mmmmm have lots of books from Uni, only problem is IT books can go out of date but I don't think they charge you unless you actaully sell the items so worth a looksy!

Hey Donna
My DH has hundreds of IT books and I have tried to sell them on amazon...like you said they go out of date and most of them even though only a year or 2 old were selling for something like 99p...!
Bonus is that you don't pay to list so its worth a go and someone might want them!
Hope things are going ok after your day at home with your head in the budget!I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....
Finally Debt Free...0 -
99p! Oh dear...I will have to take a look and if it looks like they are going that way I should give them to a charity shop as many of them I don't think I will use really...even in my job...so un-needed clutter! Was soooo hacked off when I noticed that the ebayer was sending a cheque as I really wanted to transfer that money! I suppose paypal won't get a cut so that's something eh! What a day! I really want to know where I am money wise and this backdated pay / Tax credits malarky ain't helping matters! I know that I have to sort this budget out sooner rather than later...scary stuff! But I will do it and tackle it head on...just not today as I am off to bed in a mo!:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0

I didn't know you needed £50 to withdraw from Paypal I am sure I have withdrawn less that that in the past?0 -
Hiya Keeping Motivated! Thank you for those kind words!
Yep they charge you to withdraw a smaller amount and transfer it to your bank account...rubbish!
I have just been looking at Pigsback and regsitered for Quidco recently and wanted to see what all the fuss was about! Looks good...just have to remember to take a few minutes out to login to them both everyday! Right am really off to bed in a mo!
