Hello everyone! I have been a busy bumble bee today upgrading servers...yawn! I have finally finshed now and it has taken the whole day...blimin heck! Anyway, quick update! Another NSD...yay! I have got the letters ready for the credit agencies and have posted them off so should hear back soon regarding my files. I have just called Virgin and had my cable tv cut from the XL package to the M one which is free...it is basically freeview but without a freeview box, you just carry on using theirs. I dunno how much I am gonna miss the TV. Basically I don't tend to watch it much, usually meant for Emily. But these days she spends most of her time on the PC or the games consoles. We really need to start getting out and about when the weather improves and do things together out in the fresh air. That will be a priority in the summer. I feel a little lost now knowing I don't have any extra channels but I know that I have got to be strong and it is only a TV after all! There is more to life than TV eh! Just feels a little odd knowing that for the first time in ages I haven't got loads of channels to chose from if I so wished. But that is a saving of £20.50 per month straight off. The guy on the phone took a while to understand me! I told him I wanted to drop to the M package as it is free with the Virgin phone. He kept on saying ah, you want to go from XL to L? I kept on saying nope, I wish to go to the M package as it is free and he finally understood and cancelled it off for me! Phew! I am gonna call them tomorrow and ask them about the broadband costs too. So that is good, TV cut. I spoke to Emily's after school club last night about the childcare vouchers. They said that they didn't accept those ones but they accept other kinds from other organisations. But if I get them the relevant info, they will call up and try and see if they can accept the onles from my employer so that will be a bonus if that happens as I can save about 30% off! Yay! Worth a shot even though she will only be there till the summer. Hopefully it will be a painfree process...that would be great. Once my driving lessons are all finished with, I might actually cancel Emily going on a Friday as she usually goes to a club after school till 5pm and once I have finished driving, I will be able to finish at the usual time on a Friday which is 4:30pm and if I am cycling, I can pick her up for 5pm. That would save about £24 per month! That makes a big difference too! I have been thinking the last few days about hw great it is all going...why didn't I do all this before? I dunno...mental isn't it! Anyway, better try and find Emily some foodies...she is watching the Transformer movie yet again! Will have to break it to her about the TV afterwards but will then pack her off to bed so won't hear any whinging! She made me feel really bad earlier...she loves this online website called Star Dolls where you dress up dolls, some of which are famous people. She loves the site and is on it all the time! She can do basic stuff, but then wanted to become a proper full member in which you have to pay every month. It costs about £5 per month and then you can buy more clothes etc. She really wants to be a proper member so badly, but I told her I cannot justify it, especially now as I am trying so hard. She got very upset and I felt so guilty but there is nothing I can do. One day it won't make any difference and I won't worry about the cash side so much as I would be able to afford it, but that day is a very long way off. I just want her to understand how hard this is and how great it will be at the end when we have more money to spend. Oh well...hope you are all ok out there my fellow DFW's! Take care xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0

Forgot to say, the VIrgin Media guy said that as I pay in avance there will be a bit if credit go back onto my account. I couldn't work out what he said, but that's a bonus anyway. When the statement comes through, I will use the same amount credited to pay towards a card. I am planning on getting a big whiteboard to put in the kitchen, so I can keep track over everything and then get a better idea of what is being paid off what! Can't believe it is Saturday night already and I have been working on these servers all day! Hope to go out for a run in the morning as really need to get back to it! Sometimes I get a little down on a Saturday evening as really want to be out there having it large! But that will have to wait! One day when Emily gets older and I am debt free, i will make sure I am busy out there having fun and doing all the stuff I should have done years ago. I missed a whole 7 years being stuck with that numpty of an ex and can't wait for the day when I can make up for lost time! I think tonight I will have a look for some more bits for ebay. My book I sold last night went fot £9.50 and £3.50 postage but won't count that as I will have to spend that amount to post the book. The remaining 3 items finish tomorrow, hopefully they will increase a bit so I can get sone extra £££ for those cards! xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0

Hello everyone! Hope we are all having a good day! I got up this morning and ran a whole 10 miles, my gosh I was shattered out by the end! Did myself no favours at all by not drinking enough water before starting the run and was very dehydrated by about 5 miles or so and had a horrendous headache
Saw lots of runners out and about and they all looked like they were in a running magazine, perfect, not a hair out of place and no sweat either! I on the other hand looked horrendous and as red as a beetroot! But at least I finished and my legs are really feeling it now! This afternoon Emily was whinging about discovering we now had no MTV! Oh dear! So I told her she could help me in the garden and she seemed to enjoy herself! I really am determined to have a nice garden this year...every year before it has got like a jungle, so will make sure I sort it out this year! Had a lovely tea and am now sat organising my Ebay sales. Sold 4 items for a total of about £45 without postage so the postage costs will go to over £50 so I will then be able to transfer the money and pay it towards a card! Usually I would waste it but not now eh! Just want the buyers to hurry up and pay! Had a good weekend and better start organinising stuff for work. Must book up my holiday before April as have 6 days to take and will make sure I cancel Emily at the after school club for those days and use the money saved to put towards a card...thats £36! I so wish I had been this organised before, crazy ain't it! I really must get on and get to grips with the budget planner next week and also call about my Broadband tomorrow too. Hope everyone is ok, enjoy the rest of the weekend xxx

Feeling sooooo productive it's unreal! Just mad how it took going on the show for me to get that way! I know spud! Man I am so exausted! The gardening didn't take us too long as we really need to find our gardening gloves. I have a pair for the both of us but god only knows where they are! I know they are clean as they have never been used! Every year I just let the garden get into a state. It's a nice size garden too, in dire need of a back fence but hey, I will be whinging at the council about that very soon! Next weekend I hope to dig up the roots of the stingers I have cut down today. That was what we were doing, cutting down the sticks which were once stinging nettles. Thought if I get them now whilst they are all dry, might be able to keep on top of them during the summer months. I have never done any digging before but the ground is quite soggy from all the rain so hopefully it will be quite simple?!?! Give it a go anyhoooos!:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0
