    Hi Donna

Good to see you again - and I *saw* you! Just used the link to watch you - you looked great, no kidding. It wasn't the whole of it, I didn't see the bit where Martin told you to lose the digital TV, but still.... Ive lost touch with the boards a bit, between desparately trying to carry out some jobs (accounts, then Christmas, then matched betting, then more accounts) and that has now finished, so I'll be able to contribute more to the boards again. Sounds like you've had a full-force lightbulb moment, and are really going for it this time. Great stuff!

And how lovely your "little madam" is too ....

Heya Karmacat! Great to hear from you! You have been busy ain't you...blimin heck! I certainly have had a Full-force LBM now I tell you! Completely knocked me for six! Everything is going so well at the mo, the TV appearance has out a lot of things into perspective really, but I am so pleased and so lucky to have been chosen for the case study, I really am! Can't afford to waste a penny or mess it up this time cause I have the very lurvely Martin behind me now! :D Little madam is still just that, a little madam! She is on her dance mat at the mo so I can actually get on the computer for 5 minutes! I have told her to watch as much Disney channel tomorrow as possible cause I will be calling Virgin to get it cancelled in the afternoon! Probably do her the world of good not to watch that channel anyway, as I know that is where she gets all of her american kiddies attitude from!!! I have been busy today, have got the 3 letters ready to post tonight for the credit agencies and I am also requesting my files as well as requesting the notice of disassociation so I can check everything is as it should be before I apply for that card. I asked at Emily's after school club about the childcare vouchers. They said they don't take them at present but if I get the relevant info they will find out about seeing if they can start to accept them. That would be excellent as it would mean saving money sooner rather than having to wait till the summer providing my work's summer scheme will accept them. Gosh it would be great if they did! Money, money, money!
I have had my Barclaycard bill through today, it's on 0% till October. I was very stupid and put a load of shopping on it at the end of December, so as it hasn't yet accrued any interest and screwed up my 0%, I hope to pay the food part off this month so that it will keep the 0% properly. I am soooo chuffed I haven't been spending any money this week. Only the 86p! That's fab! I have been cycling to and from work this week so it's harder to go to the shops! Yay! Hope to just use the foodies here for the weekend so I will only buy pack lunch bits this weekend. I have to look at cutting back on that really. It's hard to know how much to give an 11 year growing girl as I don't want to waste money but I don't want her going hungry either! It's hard being a single parent sometimes as I have no one to bounce ideas off of. I will have to do a bit of googling to see what I can give her which is cheap and nutritious as well as filling. Will start on the O/S boards first though of course! :T I have started being more consious about energy in the home the last few days too. I have stopped putting the heating on, just grab a jumper first and then usually find that's enough. Lights have been off if we are not in the room and the water is only on for an huor or so. Every little bit helps I suppose! Right I need a nice cup of tea! Back soon! xxx

  • Donna you sound so positive and focused - I'm just trying to sort things out myself and need to get a bit of self-discipline - cycling to work is positively saintly, well done you.

Too right on both accounts spud30!!! Your weightloss in your sig is fantastic! Huge well done to you! I seriously need to sort the eating situation out! I have been very good in that I haven't visited the vending machine or cafe this week but I am still eating rubbish! I had very good intentions when I woke up this morning, but then I was brought lunch and it all went out of the window...well it was free so it would be rude to say no! ;)

Thanks fac73! BTW the baby in the avatar is such a cutie! Awwww make me broody but looking at my little madam is good enough contraception for anybody! :D She's lovely really! I really enjoy the cycling but that is mainly due to the fact it is all cycling paths pretty much 95% of the way, I would be so scared on the roads, especially in Bristol. My friend was knocked off his bike earlier and had to go to hospital, he was so close to work too, literally outside, I really hope he is ok. I have my work on the bike to work scheme and it will be paid off in October thank goodness. Shouldn't really have got in under the circumstances but it saves so much time getting to work...usually takes me 40 mins to walk and 10 mins on the bike! Looking forward to paying that off!

Awwww thanks! I used to do SW and lost 4 stones on my own too...the meetings are quite a bit aren't they and it was hard to get to due to work etc. I have put on about a stone and want to get rid of it really, it's all on my bottom half...Grrrrrrr! It has got to the stage whereas my clothes are getting tight and can hardly fit into anything anymore bar 2 things! I have so many clothes but need to loose the weight to be able to wear them and I don't want to buy anymore as I want to save the money. I just need to get focused really, then I can attack that full throttle too!

I'm blaming the weather for my lack of will power at the moment, the grey rainy days make me want stodge :rotfl:

I want to lose another 2 - 3 stone, then have a tummy tuck when we win the lottery ;)

I ain't a fan of the grey rainy days either! I should be out training for the Bath Half Marathon which is mid March and I have done hardly any training, which is not good! But at least it keeps most of the chavs at bay as they seem to stay indoors when the weather is rubbish! Had a right mouthful off of a load of them last night on the way home, makes me want to take off that heavy D lock on my bike and knock them all out! Little peckers! They are soooo rude. I was never like that when I was younger, they have no fear about anything....they just don't care......grrrrrrrrr!
