The emerging markets seem to magnify what is happening in the US. So if the US market surges, expect the emerging markets to go mental.0 -

The FTSE 100 will go below 5500 soon, and finish the year at around 5600, before the rally of 2009 which will see 7000 reached...;)
My other prediction is that the hang seng will reach at least 35000 around the time of the olympics, and then fall significantly once it's finished. It will end 2008 at around 25000;)0 -

Yes - I'm waiting for the FTSE 100 to hit about 5100, which it will quite soon I reckon; that will be the absolute bottom for many years.
