You can pay the Postal Order into your bank or exchange it for cash at any Post Office. If its crossed then I believe you can only pay it into your bank account. HTH.

Paid the PO into my bank account and the cashier had to check with his supervisor that he could accept it, then how to process it.

I'm glad I'm not alone in being thick about PO's!

Found a new "Taste Guarantee" today on Warburton's White Batch sliced bread. Small round sticker on the bag - send this, till receipt, plus why you don't agree that this is the most delicious and tastiest loaf around (because it's mass produced junk with the texture and flavour of cotton wool, probably ) in 15+ words to receive a refund (max £1.06) plus postage. Closes 30.09.05. Not sure whether Warburton's is still as 'northern' as it used to be - I know they've recently opened a factory in London but I don't know whether the brand is available nationwide yet, but I found the offer in Waitrose and Sainsburys for anyone interested.

There are special flashed packs for it... I don't know if they actually check what kind of pack the barcode was from, though. I don't think it says on the pack.

All it says on the pack is send the bar-code in, don't know if the bar-codes are different on the special flashed packs, perhaps someone will give it a go and see if they notice!
